Zarbon's Transformation

"Th-this is impossible! How could you possibly possess such speed?" Zarbon's face was a mask of bewilderment and shock.

Vegeta gave a light smile, his lips curling into an evil arc.

Zarbon gritted his teeth and threw a punch.

"Smack!"

Vegeta swatted it away, instantly sending Zarbon's arm flying, then followed up with a kick that launched Zarbon several yards into the air.

"Boom!"

Vegeta soared upward, landing a punch squarely on Zarbon's back. With a thunderous crash, Zarbon's body tore through a massive building and slammed into the ground, creating a deep crater.

"H-how is this happening?" Zarbon struggled to his feet, staring at the reading on his Scouter, unable to believe the reality before him.

"Feeling confused?" Vegeta asked with a laugh. "You should have noticed by now—my combat power is only around 15,000, yet you are no match for me."

Zarbon's expression turned grim and terrifying as he watched the little monster opposite him with extreme caution.

Vegeta smiled. Recently, his control over his ki had reached a state of pure perfection. In other words, he could manipulate his own energy at will; just now, he had briefly spiked his combat power during the fight, making it impossible for the Scouter to register an accurate reading.

"Transform, Zarbon. I know you can transform," Vegeta said, looking at Zarbon with a smirk.

Although his last battle with Dodoria had taught Vegeta that he should go all out from the very beginning, he had recently discovered a truth: it seemed that Saiyans could only accelerate their cultivation speed while in the heat of battle.

For instance, over the past month, Vegeta had been training in seclusion, yet the energy within him had only increased by a tiny fraction. Therefore, he had changed his mind this time, wanting to see if a fight with Zarbon could speed up his progress.

"Y-you know I can transform?" Zarbon was stunned for a moment before a realization dawned on him. "I see. Dodoria must have told you, right?"

Vegeta chuckled. Naturally, he couldn't tell the man that he was a transmigrator who understood the history of Dragon Ball inside and out.

"Hmph, heh heh!" Zarbon sneered incessantly. "Although transforming can..."

"Although transforming can increase your combat power, it ruins your image, and you love your handsome appearance." Vegeta cut him off before he could finish, reciting the man's lines for him. "Alright, there's no need to say that; it's a waste of time."

Zarbon was completely dumbfounded. Is this Vegeta a monster? How could he possibly know what I was going to say?

However, things had reached a point where Zarbon had no other choice. He felt immense pressure, and he feared that only by transforming could he deal with this little monster.

"Bang!"

Zarbon's body suddenly began to swell, his mouth protruding, his eyes bulging, and his skin becoming uneven and bumpy. A toad-like figure now stood before Vegeta.

Vegeta sensed Zarbon's ki for a moment; he had indeed grown much stronger, with his combat power having risen to at least 50,000.

Still, the guy was still 10,000 points of combat power behind him, so slaughtering this wretch would be easy. At that moment, Nappa and Raditz finally arrived at the scene of the battle.

Upon seeing the 50,000 combat power reading on their Scouters, the two of them trembled, cold sweat pouring down their faces as their lips shook uncontrollably.

"Zarbon actually possesses such terrifying combat power..." Raditz, whose own combat power was relatively low, nearly wet himself at the sight.
