"Hmph, a bunch of single-celled wild monkeys, and they actually want to rebel against me, Frieza!" Frieza scoffed, his eyes flashing with disdain.
"Father, I could wipe out their entire race all by myself!" Galdo was brimming with fighting spirit, itching to rush over and destroy Planet Vegeta right now.
Frieza narrowed his eyes and smiled, ignoring his son as he asked his subordinate, "How is the investigation into Vegeta's time on Earth coming along?"
"Lord Frieza, we have obtained preliminary verification," the subordinate replied. "There is a Namekian on Earth who calls himself the Guardian. It is said they possess a magical ability to create Dragon Balls; if one gathers all seven, any wish can be granted. However, we are still investigating this matter as these are merely rumors, and there is currently no scientific basis for it."
"What did you say?" Frieza's triangular eyes widened, and he crushed his wine glass into powder on the spot.
Terrified, the subordinate hurriedly repeated what he had just said.
"Any wish can be granted?" Frieza muttered in a low voice.
"Lord Frieza, I heard that when Vegeta was on Earth, he seemed to have gathered seven Dragon Balls," the subordinate said cautiously. "Captain Ginyu reported this at the time, but he didn't recognize them as Dragon Balls; he only mentioned seven glowing golden orbs. After our analysis, these orbs are most likely the legendary Dragon Balls."
"Depart for Earth immediately!" Frieza commanded. As soon as the words left his lips, he asked, "By the way, how long does it take to get to Earth?"
"Father!" Galdo interjected anxiously, still waiting to settle the score with Vegeta.
"Shut your mouth!" Frieza barked, then turned back to his subordinate. "Continue."
"Lord Frieza, it takes about one hundred and fifty days to travel from here to Earth," the subordinate replied.
"You just said that the person calling himself the Guardian is a Namekian?" Frieza asked again.
The subordinate nodded solemnly, skillfully operating the computer to point at a black hole on the screen. "Lord Frieza, Namek is located in the Eastern Universe. Although it is much further away, if we pass through this black hole, we can arrive in about ten days."
"Excellent. Head to Namek immediately!" Frieza ordered.
"Father, what about my fight with Vegeta?" Galdo finally couldn't hold back anymore.
"You fool, what could be more wonderful than having a wish granted?" Frieza glared at his son.
"But Father..." Galdo still wanted to fight.
"Son, once the Dragon Balls grant us the wish of immortality, don't you think your fight with Vegeta will be even more interesting?" Frieza smiled, his tone meaningful.
Galdo's eyes lit up, a look of joy spreading across his face as he nodded gravely.
The spaceship carved an arc through space, changing its original course to head straight for the distant black hole.
"What? Frieza's spaceship is heading toward the black hole?" King Vegeta received news of Frieza's latest movements immediately, then lowered his head in thought. "What is he doing going to the Eastern Universe?"
His subordinate shook his head, clearly unaware.
"What is in the Eastern Universe?" King Vegeta wondered aloud.
After about ten minutes of silence, King Vegeta's eyes brightened as if he had realized something. He hurriedly asked, "Investigate immediately: is Namek located in the Eastern Universe?"
