Krillin vs. Chiaotzu

"Flying around in the air? That's way too cheap!"

"If that's how it's going to be, don't blame me!" Krillin furrowed his brow. Then he started moving at incredible speed, so fast that the human eye could no longer follow him!

"Chiaotzu, he's on the left!"

At Tien's warning, Chiaotzu looked even more confused. He was just about to reach out with both hands to figure out which way to turn when Krillin suddenly appeared and punched him away!

"Take that, take that, take that!"

Krillin pressed his advantage. His relentless attacks forced Chiaotzu backward, leaving him no chance to strike back. But just as Krillin was about to push him out of the ring, Chiaotzu stopped in midair again!

"Damn it, I can't hit him like this!" Krillin gritted his teeth, his face full of frustration.

Chiaotzu strolled through the air until he was directly above Krillin. Then he extended a finger, gathering a golden glow. The next moment, he fired it straight down. Krillin's expression changed, and he hurriedly dodged as the ring exploded beneath him!

"Ziye, don't you think that move looks familiar?" Goku turned to Ziye and asked.

"That's Tao Pai Pai's Dodon Ray!" Ziye nodded.

"Hm?"

Tien, who had overheard their conversation, furrowed his brow. Then he walked over and asked in a low voice, "Do you know Tao Pai Pai?"

"Of course! Ziye killed him!" Goku nodded.

Tien's expression changed dramatically. He roared, "N-no way! How could he have killed Tao Pai Pai? It's impossible!"

"Why is it impossible? Do you think that guy was strong? Even you could easily beat him to death now!" Ziye said disdainfully.

"Damn it... Tao Pai Pai was so strong... How could..." Tien's veins bulged as he gritted his teeth, looking utterly disbelieving!

Inside the ring

Chiaotzu hovered in midair, firing golden energy blasts into the ring, while Krillin could only keep rolling around to dodge his attacks!

"Damn it, I'll definitely lose if this keeps up, but I can't even touch him!"

"I've got it! If Yamcha can do it, there's no reason I can't!"

After muttering to himself, Krillin planted his feet in a bow-shaped stance and slowly cupped his hands at his waist, gathering all his strength between his palms.

"Is that... Could this kid have learned it too?" Master Roshi said in surprise.

Seeing Krillin stop moving, Chiaotzu began gathering all his power at his fingertips. The next moment, it formed a golden energy sphere about the size of a basketball.

"Uh-oh! Krillin hasn't mastered the Kamehameha yet. He won't be able to beat the Dodon Ray!" Master Roshi said worriedly, his expression grave.

"Krillin, dodge!" Goku shouted at once.

"Dodon Ray!"

Chiaotzu let out a fierce shout. The golden energy gathered in his hand blazed brightly and shot toward Krillin!

Krillin's gaze was fixed and serious. He didn't fire the energy he had gathered. Instead, just as Chiaotzu's blast hit the ground, he darted away and appeared in midair the next moment!

"Kamehameha!"

At the same time, Krillin seized his chance and unleashed a Kamehameha. The white beam struck Chiaotzu squarely and sent him flying!

But just as Chiaotzu was about to fall out of the ring, he quickly used the Flight Technique to stop in midair. Then, dragging his injured body, he staggered back into the ring.

"Damn it, I was so close! He's flying again!" Krillin gritted his teeth, regretful.

"I'm angry now. I'm going all out!"

With that, Chiaotzu took off his hat. To everyone's surprise, a single long black hair remained on his pale, bald head. Then he began spinning rapidly and charged straight at Krillin!

Bam!

The next moment, Krillin was knocked to the ground. He got back up, rubbed his bald head, and without hesitation charged right back at Chiaotzu!

Bam!

"Ah... That hurts! That really hurts!"

Krillin had been knocked to the ground again. Tears welled in his eyes as he clutched his head and cried out.

"Again?"

As Chiaotzu relentlessly came at him, Krillin hurriedly leapt away. But Chiaotzu suddenly changed direction, spinning once more and slamming his head into Krillin's chest!

"Damn it!"

Ha!

Krillin's expression turned grim as he shouted and caught Chiaotzu with both hands. He was forced backward toward the edge of the ring, but at the critical moment, Chiaotzu's Spinning Iron Headbutt finally gave out, and he stopped!

"He actually caught it!"

Tien exclaimed in surprise.

"My turn now!"

Krillin shouted excitedly, then stamped his foot against the ground and charged forward!

"Ah!"

Chiaotzu suddenly raised both hands and sent invisible waves toward Krillin. Krillin's expression instantly darkened, and he clutched his stomach as he slumped to the ground.

"Bam! Bam! Bam!"

Chiaotzu hurried forward and kicked Krillin again and again. Cries of pain rang out!

"How does this guy have so many weird moves? Is he not using his hands because he can't lower them?"

Krillin forced himself to his feet despite the pain and thought furiously. Then a sudden idea struck him, and he asked, "What's three plus four?"

At that, Chiaotzu stopped and began counting on his fingers!

"Now's my chance!"

"Bam!"

The next moment, Krillin seized the opening and punched him. Chiaotzu went flying, and Krillin pressed his advantage, firing one math question after another until Chiaotzu was completely flustered!

"What's nine minus one?"

Krillin asked again, refusing to let up. Chiaotzu started counting on his fingers once more. This time, though, Krillin put all his strength into his attack and sent him flying out of the ring!

"Eight!"

Krillin gave a quiet chuckle as he watched Chiaotzu fall outside the ring.

"Chiaotzu is out of bounds! Krillin wins!" The referee hurriedly picked up the microphone and announced Krillin's victory!

"Damn it! That idiot actually fell for such a stupid trick!"

"I should've taught him math too!" the Crane Hermit said furiously, clenching his fists.

"Teacher, there's something important I need to tell you..." Tien walked over and spoke up.

"What is it?" the Crane Hermit asked impatiently.

"I found out what happened to my martial uncle, Tao Pai Pai..."

"He... He was killed by Ziye of the Turtle School!" Tien clenched his fists, his expression grave.

"What?"

"I was wondering why I hadn't heard from my younger brother lately."

"So... So he was..."

"Damn it! I'll never forgive you!"

The Crane Hermit stared at Ziye in the distance, a deep murderous intent in his eyes!
