The Journey Begins

At Ziye's words, Bulma couldn't help choking up. She hadn't expected both boys in front of her to be orphans, with such pitiful backgrounds!

Then Bulma took two Dragon Balls out of her pocket and placed them on the table.

"How do you have two grandpas?"

Goku shouted in surprise.

"This isn't Grandpa. These are called Dragon Balls. If you collect all seven, you can summon Shenron and have any wish granted!"

Bulma explained casually.

"So you came out here to look for Dragon Balls?"

At that, Bulma nodded casually.

"Why don't you come with me to look for the Dragon Balls? With your skills and my Dragon Ball Radar, we'll have no trouble collecting them all!"

Bulma suddenly suggested.

Following the Dragon Ball Radar's guidance, the three traveled onward. Suddenly, Bulma brought the car to a stop!

"Why did you stop?"

Goku asked in confusion.

"Sorry, I need to take care of something. Wait here for a bit. I'll be right back!"

Bulma got out of the car and spoke apologetically.

"What are you going to do?"

Goku asked, looking confused.

"None of your business!"

Bulma pursed her lips and said.

"Don't go too far. There are wild animals around here," Ziye kindly reminded her.

"Don't worry! Thanks for caring."

With that, Bulma hurried off!

"Ziye, what's Bulma doing? Why isn't she back yet?" Goku asked anxiously.

At that, Ziye couldn't help feeling puzzled too. Even if it took a girl a while to use the bathroom, surely it wouldn't take this long!

"Goku, I'll go check on her!"

With that, they both got out of the car and headed in the direction Bulma had gone.

"Help! Help!"

"Ziye, Goku, come save me!"

The sudden shouts caught both their attention. Looking up, they saw a huge flying beast. Clutched in its sharp claws was Bulma, screaming for help.

"Goku, lend me your Golden Cudgel!"

At that, Goku nodded and untied the red staff from his back. The next second, the Golden Cudgel began growing longer and longer, and Ziye used it to launch himself into the air.

"Ziye, hurry and save me!"

When she saw Ziye flying up, the panic on Bulma's little face eased somewhat. Ziye gathered all his strength, then used the force of the Golden Cudgel's momentum to slam into the flying beast's face.

The flying beast clearly hadn't expected such a small body to unleash so much power. It immediately foamed at the mouth and crashed heavily to the ground.

Night soon fell. The three gathered around a huge fire, and the flying beast they had killed that day was roasting over it.

After the three finished dinner, Bulma took a Capsule out of her pocket. The next second, a luxurious house appeared in front of them.

"How amazing!"

Ziye and Goku exclaimed together.

"Hmph, what country bumpkins!"

Bulma said proudly, then went inside.

It was no wonder Ziye was amazed. Even in his previous life, he'd never seen technology this advanced!

Morning sunlight spilled over the land. Ziye stretched and opened the door, only to see Goku already outside, practicing.

"Goku, you're up early," Ziye asked casually with a yawn.

"Mm."

"I'm going to train hard. I have to surpass you!"

Goku said earnestly.

At that, Ziye shook his head, a faint smile on his face. You are more hardworking than me, and you have more talent than me. But there's nothing you can do about it. I have a cheat, so you'll never surpass me.

"Ah!"

"What are you doing?"

Suddenly, a strange voice sounded. Ziye looked closely and saw that Goku was holding a huge Sea Turtle.

"Huh?"

"Why is it a big turtle? I thought it was a rock."

After setting the Sea Turtle down, Goku said, puzzled.

"Could you give me a cup of salt water?"

The Sea Turtle looked at Ziye and Goku and asked pleadingly.

"Come inside with me!"
