After subduing Oolong and taking him as a companion, Ziye and his group of four resumed their journey to find the sixth Dragon Ball, heading steadily toward the southwest.
"Only two Dragon Balls left. This journey feels much smoother than I imagined!" Ziye said with a relaxed expression as he looked at the five Dragon Balls laid out before him.
"Yeah." Goku nodded with a smile, agreeing, before glancing at the sullen Oolong beside him and asking in confusion, "But why do we have to bring Oolong along?"
"I want to know that even more than you do. Do you think I'm happy to be adventuring with you lot?" Oolong pouted, sounding rather annoyed.
"Bringing him along is to prevent him from continuing to transform and scare people. Besides, I think his transformation technique is quite good; he should be able to help out during our travels," Ziye explained calmly.
"I don't want to help at all! By the way, where are you guys actually going?" Oolong rolled his eyes and asked, somewhat irritably.
"Let me check!" At these words, Bulma pulled a map from her backpack. After examining it carefully, she muttered, "The next stop seems to be the Fried Bread Slice region!"
Hearing this, Oolong's face turned ghastly, and he immediately shouted, "Nani? Fried Bread Slice? Why didn't you say so earlier? Let me go, I want to get out of the car!"
Seeing Oolong's uncharacteristic reaction, Goku asked with a puzzled look, "Oolong, do you know where that is? Why are you so scared?"
Hearing Goku's inquiry, Oolong's expression darkened further. He asked incredulously, "Don't you guys know? A very terrifying monster lives there, named the Ox-King."
"Ox-King? Sounds like he'd be delicious!" Goku mused for a moment before saying with a smile.
Bulma chuckled as well, saying dismissively, "Don't worry, Ziye and Goku will defeat him."
"You bunch of lunatics have no idea how terrifying the Ox-King is! Stop the car, we can't go there!" Oolong yelled excitedly.
"You guys go if you want, I'm not going!" With that, Oolong leaped up, transformed into a small bird, and prepared to flee.
"Where do you think you're going? Sit down and behave!" Before Oolong could fly far, he was yanked back by Ziye. After a bit of coercion and bribery, the fellow finally settled down.
The car grew quiet again, and the group sped toward their destination, soon finding themselves driving into the middle of a desert.
"It's so hot! What kind of hellish weather is this?" Bulma wiped the sweat dripping from her forehead, then slammed on the brakes, saying impatiently.
"Bulma, why are you stopping again? Didn't you just go to the bathroom?" Goku looked at Bulma with a naive, confused expression.
"Shut up! Who said stopping means I have to go to the bathroom? I can't stand this weather anymore, I'm going to take a bath!" Saying this, Bulma opened the door and stepped out. She found an open space, dropped a capsule, and a luxurious house appeared before them.
"Sigh, women are such a hassle," Ziye shook his head and said helplessly.
"Huh?"
"What is that?"
Suddenly, a strange figure in the distance was rapidly approaching their direction.
"Look at this car; looks like we've run into some fat sheep today!" The newcomer was a handsome man dressed in green, with a long sword strapped to his waist, looking quite imposing.
"Who are you?" Goku asked curiously.
"Heh." The man sneered, then said coolly, "I am the bandit of this region, Yamcha."
"Considering you're all just kids, hand over your money and I'll let you go."
Hearing this, Ziye couldn't help but laugh. He walked over to Goku and said with a hint of sarcasm, "Well, well, Goku, looks like we've run into a robbery. You want to handle it, or should I?"
"Isn't that the crybaby Puar? How do you have the guts to go out robbing people now?" Oolong suddenly pointed at the pet beside Yamcha and mocked him.
"You are? Oolong? How are you here?" Puar recognized Oolong at this moment and asked in surprise.
"You know each other?" Yamcha asked curiously.
"Yes! Back in kindergarten, this guy used to bully me all the time! Later, he was expelled for stealing the teacher's underwear!" Puar said indignantly.
"Oh? Stealing someone's underwear—that sounds like a real piece of work. Puar, I'll help you teach him a lesson!" Yamcha sneered.
Hearing this, Oolong shrank back in fear, hiding behind Ziye and pleading nervously, "Ziye, you're the one who brought me out, you have to protect me!"
"You're going to protect him?" Yamcha glanced at Ziye with utter disdain.
"Forget it. Since you're just kids, as long as you make this pig apologize to Puar and hand over your money, I'll let you go!"
"If you want to rob us, let's see if you have the skill to back it up," Ziye retorted with a cold, dismissive laugh.
"Since you're looking for death, don't blame me."
Yamcha's expression gradually darkened. In the next second, he exerted force into his palm, drew the blade at his waist, and slashed fiercely toward Ziye.
Swish.
Ziye shifted his body rapidly, easily dodging the attack, and immediately followed up with a punch that landed solidly on Yamcha's stomach.
"Ah!"
Stung by the pain, Yamcha let out a cry and went flying backward.
"It's been a long time since I've met an opponent this strong. In that case, let me show you my ultimate technique!"
Yamcha's face turned incredibly grim. He assumed a combat stance resembling a wolf and shouted loudly:
"Wolf Fang Fist!"
In the next second, Yamcha's speed became blindingly fast, as if dozens of ferocious wolves were swarming toward Ziye.
Facing this flawless, fierce assault, Ziye's expression gradually turned grave.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The two bodies collided violently. Yamcha's face instantly turned ugly; he had not expected that he would be unable to harm his opponent in the slightest.
"How is this possible? Someone actually managed to block Young Master Yamcha's Wolf Fang Fist?"
Puar's mouth hung wide open as he spoke in disbelief.
"Heh."
"Is this all you've got?"
"Now it's my turn."
Ziye let out a cold snort, his tone mocking, and immediately assumed the exact same combat stance as Yamcha.
"This is impossible, how could you..."
Seeing this, Yamcha's expression turned even worse.
"Wolf Fang Fist!"
In the next second, Ziye unleashed Yamcha's own technique, but with even greater speed and more ferocious strikes.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The relentless assault left countless wounds on Yamcha's body. Ziye then delivered a final punch, sending Yamcha flying back dozens of meters.
