The last was a bronze-colored furnace with three legs and two handles, its design simple and ancient. Complex formations for gathering and controlling fire were carved into its body, while its lid bore the image of a crane circling overhead. Called the Azure Crane Spirit-Nurturing Furnace, it was an exceptionally suitable supreme-grade magic treasure for Alchemy. It could also be used against enemies, though it was not as effective as a dedicated offensive magic treasure.

"Which one will you choose, Nephew Chen?" the elder asked after presenting and introducing the five magic treasures.

Chen Xuan was now a Dao Foundation Realm cultivator. Though he had not taken a master, according to the sect's seniority, it was perfectly proper for the elder to call him nephew. If anything, it made them seem closer.

The elder didn't know Chen Xuan, but he recognized the jade token for a supreme-grade magic treasure.

A Dao Foundation Realm cultivator receiving a supreme-grade magic treasure as a sect reward made it immediately clear that this nephew was worth befriending.
