He also gestured for us to press closer together...
Clearly, he intended for us to hide beneath his black dog hide.
Some creature, or powerful presence, was approaching.
We could no longer escape and could only hide...
Once we had curled up, Black Emperor pinched his nose at us, signaling that we were not to breathe.
My master and I immediately did as he said. Black Emperor was scared shitless, so whatever had appeared had to be terrifying.
We had barely hidden when, through a gap in the black dog hide, we saw white mist spreading
