In the Valley, Feng Shui Sand Dragon Form

Hearing Mao Jing mention the words "dragon-shaped land," I was startled.

A place known as "dragon-shaped land" was where a dragon vein lay.

Places like that were rare.

And such Feng Shui sites were all prime locations.

Whether for people to live in or ghosts to be buried in, they were places of great fortune and blessing.

No wonder that demonic Daoist had chosen this place to use the Red Paper Life-Extension Technique on someone.

Looking at it this way, the burial site of that paper effigy girl's coffin was very likely inside.

I glanced around. There were mostly rocks and relatively few trees.

It looked especially desolate.

Of course, dragon veins came in many varieties and were also divided according to the Five Elements.

Not every place where a dragon-shaped vein lay was full of vibrant life.

So I asked, "Mao Jing, what kind of dragon vein is this?

It doesn't really look like one!

It doesn't have that majestic aura of a dragon soaring into the sky or plunging into the sea."

Mao Jing simply replied with three words, "Sand dragon form. A false lesser dragon."

"A false lesser dragon? Sand dragon form? Brother Mao, what does sand dragon form mean?"

Zhang Yuchen asked.

Pan Ling and I didn't know either, and we both looked at Mao Jing.

Mao Jing did not hesitate and said quietly:

"See the water outlet when entering the mountains, and inspect the bright hall when ascending to the acupoint.

Only by discerning the two reservoirs can one understand yin and yang.

The verses say: 'What opens and closes is a true dragon; what bends without winding leaves only the traces of sand.

Standing stiff and straight is a dead horned dragon; winding without opening is like a snake.'
