Background

Lu Li begins as a Qi Refining disciple trapped in the Demon Sect’s Ten Thousand Demon Mountain. Believing that the righteous path offers a better future, he initially aims to cultivate until he can escape; he first practices the Vajra Art at night because the Purple Haze Sun-Refining Scripture requires sunlight. 3

His early survival depends on concealing his Buddhist and Daoist cultivation while developing demonic arts within the Yin Underworld Ghost Sect. The environment makes him colder and more calculating, a change he accepts as necessary to survive. 8
