Somewhere in the Pearl Sea,
Li Si brought Aivar back to the spot where they had discovered the mysterious island last time.
Li Si looked calm, but Aivar was visibly tense.
For him, this had been the goal he had worked toward for years. Today, it was actually about to come true.
His heart surged with emotion as he cautiously turned his gaze toward Li Si.
All his hopes now rested on Li Si, so he could not help but pay close attention to him.
Li Si paid no mind to Aivar's little movements. He gripped the blue divine artifact fragment tightly in his hand.
Just as before, he had Charles and the others stay aboard the Eagle with Helen, bringing only Aivar with him.
After all, there was no telling what unforeseen dangers might be on that God Spirit Island. Li Si might not be able to look after anyone else when the time came.
As for Aivar, he was willing to take that risk himself for a chance to improve his strength.
"Are you ready?"
Li Si asked Aivar.
"No problem, Lord Li Si."
Aivar took a deep breath and nodded.
"Good. Then let's begin."
Li Si controlled their descent onto the sea. Before them was the unusual place Xiao Mi had sensed last time.
The place where that God Spirit Island was supposed to be.
Li Si tried to sense it, but after fumbling around for a while, he still shook his head.
There was no helping it. He still could not sense anything unusual.
Could it only mean that Divine Power was still beyond his ability to glimpse?
Li Si could not help feeling a little regretful as he took out the fragment of the Storm Trident.
