Li Si finished praying to Corellon Larethian, the main god of the Elf God System, but received no response.
This differed from when Li Si had prayed to Cain. Cain had never widely spread his divine name throughout Gaia World, so Li Si had not even formally prayed to Cain back then. Merely mentioning His divine name had gained Cain's attention.
But Corellon was different. As the main god of the Elf God System, he was the supreme being among the elves.
Other than the Dark Elves, every other elven faith undoubtedly included him.
Though the elves did not have as many believers as humans, they were still one of the powerful races in Gaia World. Therefore, Corellon had a considerable number of followers.
Although Li Si had used Corellon's most standard prayer, he was not Corellon's follower after all. It was difficult for his prayer to directly receive that being's response.
