Demogorgon looked up at the sky. His gaze seemed capable of piercing through the world itself, allowing him to see the divine war taking place beyond Gaia World.
All the main gods of the Elf God System had been held outside the world by Demogorgon's true body and could no longer interfere with his arrangements in the Elf Court.
However, Demogorgon did not have much time.
As a Demon Prince and one of the most powerful beings in the Endless Abyss, Demogorgon stood at the very peak even among gods of Greater Divine Power.
Other than a select few such as the God of Dawn and Father of the Oak, he feared no enemy.
Naturally, he was somewhat stronger than Corellon, the Elf Main God.
But that did not mean Demogorgon could directly withstand the siege of so many powerful beings from the Elf God System.
Only Demogorgon, blessed by the will of the Endless Abyss and possessing an exceptionally powerful divine body, could do such a thing. Other beings of the same level would never attempt it.
Even with Demogorgon personally holding them back, he could not last for too long.
That was the difference between abyssal evil gods and orderly righteous gods!
Apart from a handful of exceptions, most gods of Gaia World were attached to gods of Greater Divine Power, forming different god systems.
Most god systems were divided by race, such as the Elf God System, Dwarf God System, Orc God System, and so on.
The Human God System was rather special, because it had no fewer than three beings of Greater Divine Power: Prince of Lies Cyric, Earth Mother Chauntea, and God of Dawn Lathander.
