Of course, Li Si knew what an Elf Sage was. After all, the Legendary Mage Adela before him was one of the elves' Elf Sages, though she was respectfully called the Elf Great Sage due to her lofty status and immense strength.
Elf Sages referred to those in the Elf Kingdom who possessed noble character and exceptional talent. They were figures the elves aspired to become and admired.
In the Elf Kingdom, once elves broke through their limits and achieved legendary feats, they would directly receive the honorary status of Elf Kingdom elders.
The Elf elders held even more exalted status. Many decisions of the Elf Kingdom were made by the council of elders, and they could even reject the king's orders.
Compared to Elf elders, Elf Sages held a more unique status. Elf Sages did not necessarily possess Legendary-level strength, but only elves who had made tremendous contributions to the elven race could possibly be granted the honor of Elf Sage by the agents of the Elf Gods.
For that very reason, there were generally fewer Elf Sages than Elf elders.
Although Elf Sages did not hold as much power within the elven race as Elf elders, there was almost no difference between their statuses.
