Li Si and Igli walked ahead, with Cecile following behind them as the three headed toward the Martial Arts Arena.
A few days earlier, the Elf Council of Emerald City had sent representatives to visit Li Si, and the two sides had agreed on when Emerald City would send elves to join Wrath of Nature.
Today was the day those elves were reporting in to Wrath of Nature.
After Li Si had spoken with Philip, the Elf Council's representative from Emerald City, the council decided to send some descendants of its upper ranks, as well as members of the Elf Guard.
Li Si did not mind this. He was confident he could keep those young elves in line.
Besides, as a World Tree favored one, he had no reason to worry about those elves trying to pull the "go complain to your parents" routine.
That was nothing. What surprised Li Si most was that the Elf Council had even arranged for Igli, the Gale Sword Saint and commander of Emerald City's Elf Guard, to come.
Although the Elf Guard led by Igli was subordinate to Emerald City's Elf Council, Igli himself was one of the upper ranks. His status was not much lower than that of an Elf Council member.
If he truly had not wanted to join Wrath of Nature, the Elf Council would not have forced him.
After all, Igli was one of the strongest figures with the greatest hope of advancing to Legendary-level. He had earned the Elf Council's respect.
Moreover, Igli was already the commander of the Elf Guard. Joining Wrath of Nature did not really benefit him in any way.
