"They are waiting downstairs."
"Who are they?"
Li Si raised an eyebrow slightly and looked at the attendant.
"I'm not sure."
The attendant replied somewhat nervously.
"My apologies, but they claimed to have come from the Ili Hills and were all dressed in black robes."
"I see."
Li Si nodded, understanding immediately.
The people he had been expecting had arrived.
"Bring them up."
"Yes."
The attendant let out a breath of relief and hurriedly left.
Though he worked for the Mercenary Guild, Li Si was an important figure whom even the guild president treated with great respect.
He did not dare show the slightest discourtesy.
Before long, several people clad in black robes appeared at the doorway.
The leader noticed Li Si sitting inside the room, his eyes lighting up. He then turned and gave a few instructions to the others.
Several visibly more burly black-robed figures remained at the door, while only two entered the room.
The leader removed his black robe, revealing a handsome yet slightly weary face, his expression carrying a trace of resolute determination.
The person following him was an old man, small in stature yet possessing an extraordinary bearing.
