City Lord's Manor, Blood-colored Tower
At the base of that ancient, shadowy tower, a figure sat silently upon a towering throne. Suspended above the throne was an illusory orb of light that continuously scattered faint glimmers.
The figure on the throne was emaciated, as though endless years and suffering had drained away every scrap of flesh, leaving only skin stretched over bone. He looked like a ghost that had clawed its way back from the edge of hell.
High within the tower, countless streams of scarlet blood silently poured down from its peak like waterfalls controlled by invisible hands, carrying an eerie stillness and ill omen. The blood intertwined in the air into thin currents before finally gathering at the bottom of the tower, gradually forming a pool that rose past the figure's knees.
The scarlet blood churned and twisted within the pool like distorted living things. Every ripple released a maddening killing intent that made one's heart tremble, as though it could pierce flesh and reach straight into the depths of the soul.
The air was thick with the suffocating stench of rust and decay—the scent of blood interwoven with time—which involuntarily filled one with indescribable fear and oppression. The figure seated upon the throne seemed to have fused with this sea of blood, becoming an inseparable part of the horrific scene.
Within this domain soaked in blood, time seemed to have lost all meaning. Only eternal silence and the intent to slaughter lingered in the air. The skeletal figure was the master of this place, seated upon the throne in a manner beyond reason, as though quietly waiting for something, guarding something.
Li Si flew through the air above the tower, looking down at everything within this Blood-colored Tower.
His gaze swept across the tower in an instant.
