Spin stared at the several Legendary Elves attacking before her, unable to react for a moment.
But she quickly realized she could not wait any longer.
What did it mean for multiple Elf Legendaries to appear here? Spin did not even want to think about it.
She had been able to control Forbidden Fortress Donovan only because of Lolth the Spider Queen's trust.
She was also the only one among Donovan's Dark Elves who knew all of Lolth the Spider Queen's plans.
Likewise, if anything went wrong with Forbidden Fortress Donovan, she, as Donovan's controller, would bear all responsibility.
At the thought of facing Lolth the Spider Queen's wrath, Spin's body almost began to tremble.
And now, several Elf Legendaries had appeared here and were actively attacking the blockade in this dungeon passageway.
Although Spin did not want to admit it, it was quite possible that these Elf Legendaries had learned about Donovan and come here specifically to launch an attack.
Where exactly had things gone wrong?
Spin's expression turned exceptionally grim as she rapidly considered the possible problems that had arisen recently.
The plan had only just begun. Having it exposed like this was incredibly hard for Spin to accept.
After thinking it over and over, Spin could think of only one possibility.
When they had captured Brun, the Chanter of Woe, he must have somehow sent the information out.
But that did not seem to make sense either.
If the intelligence had come from Brun, then the ones who came here should have been Legendaries from the Pan-continental Mage Association, not Elf Legendaries.
Spin felt like her brain was about to stop working.
The plan had been so thorough, and they even had the divine artifact, The Stomach of Pastom. Yet such a disastrous situation had
