I originally wanted to begin this possibly long-winded ramble with, "When I wrote the first word of this book on June 1, 2023," but after thinking it over carefully, it seemed that I actually wrote the first chapter on May 31, so I gave up on that. Honestly, though, there was not much difference anyway. They were both updated in the early hours of the morning.
Looking back on this book now, the first thing I had to admit was that I was someone who wrote based on passion and inspiration. So the problems that emerged in the middle and later stages were not solely caused by things like my family members being hospitalized for surgery, or my own health problems. To be frank, it was still a matter of having no outline. This had already been obvious in the early stages.
During serialization, I tried countless times to make an outline for myself and write within a framework, but I never succeeded. Nor was I the kind of person who thought up the ending first and then worked backward through the middle. Once the little inspiration I had ran out, that made the writing process of this book extremely difficult.
After the Battle of Terra ended, I sat blankly in front of my computer countless times, sitting there for hours without being able to write a single word.
For someone who had once written ten thousand words a day as easily as drinking water, that was a devastating blow. But I had brought it entirely upon myself. I could not blame anyone else.
The second thing was that there were far too many problems with the plot.
