Up for Sale

It would go up for sale after noon today.

As was customary, I was supposed to put on a sob story or complain about how hard I had it: my slow typing, my lack of time, and so on.

But then I thought about it and realized it probably wouldn't help. No matter how miserable I sounded, I couldn't top how miserable I'd been when my last book first went up for sale. I lost my job right after launch, struggled to update ten thousand words a day for a month, then barely earned enough in royalties and had to sneak off to take a part-time job. In the end, I still couldn't escape the fate of a wage slave.

Friends, I've come to a realization.

There's a limit to how much you can milk a sob story. The more an author complains, the more they realize how miserable they are. The only way to get subscribers is to write well and write a lot.

So, I'm done being a slow typist (just kidding).

After launch, three updates a day will be the bare minimum.

For the first three days after launch, I'll post five updates a day. Subscribe, please! This is my last ripple—no, wait, this is all the stockpiled chapters I have left!!

By the way, I'd like to thank Peng Lai, the editor for Group Nine. Ever since this book was signed, the recommendations have never stopped. The book's success so far is all thanks to Peng Lai's support.

That incredible level of support is truly a once-in-a-lifetime miracle. I'm in awe. Thank you again.

Also, the book's QQ group is: 692761646

If it's full, you can join 746181378 instead. Once the group is upgraded, we'll move everyone over.
