Faced with Fang Cheng's advances, Tsukikage Hoshi didn't feel the slightest resistance. If anything, she wished he would go further.

The hand she had placed on Fang Cheng's chest began to gently caress him.

But this wasn't right.

She fought to control the strange feelings stirring inside her and tried to wake Fang Cheng. Yet the words that came out were, "Then what are you waiting for? I'm waiting for you."

Those words made them both lose control. Fang Cheng suddenly pressed her down, and Tsukikage Hoshi responded with equal fervor.

Their lips and tongues clashed as they stripped each other's clothes, tangling together on the sofa.

"Meow!"

A clear cat's cry suddenly rang out from the little garden outside.

Fang Cheng's mind snapped back to clarity. He shoved Tsukikage Hoshi away, leaped off the sofa, grabbed the glass of water on the table, and splashed it over his face.

Splash!

The icy water doused the flames of desire surging through him.

Tsukikage Hoshi's face was flushed with a captivating blush, and her eyes were misty. She reached for him again without thinking.

Fang Cheng reached out and pinched her thigh hard.

"Ah!"

Tsukikage Hoshi cried out in pain and instantly came to her senses. She glared at Fang Cheng. "Why did you pinch me?"

After saying that, she paused and looked up at Fang Cheng. He was looking at her, too.

They stared at each other in silence. The room was peaceful, yet an unsettling feeling spread through the awkward atmosphere.

Rubbing his temples, Fang Cheng frowned. "Landlady, I'm sorry."

He had only meant to give the Landlady a verbal warning. Somehow, though, things had started heading in an unspeakable direction.

That definitely wasn't something he should have wanted, but nothing about it had felt unusual at the time.
