Chimera meant "she-goat" in Greek. It also had another widely known name: the Chimaera.
It first appeared in the Homeric Epics as a child of Typhon and Echidna.
It had a lion's head, a goat's body, and a python's tail. It was immensely strong and agile, could breathe fire, and had deadly poison in its tail.
The Chimaera was about the size of a bus, but it ran much faster. When it charged, it was like a gust of wind, knocking away or trampling to death the insect monsters in its path.
In the blink of an eye, it had charged hundreds of meters. It leaped into the air and pounced on Oni Yunjie, then opened its mouth and spewed out a torrent of terrifying flames.
Oni Yunjie slashed with both blades, and two crossing arcs of light split the flames coming straight at her.

She chose not to meet it head-on. She shot upward, quickly dodging the Chimaera's attack.
The Chimaera's tail immediately lashed at her like a whip, moving so fast it left no afterimage.
Oni Yunjie had no time to dodge, so she could only raise both blades to block.
Thud!
Like a baseball, she was knocked out of the sky in an instant.
Tsukikage Hoshi was fighting the Insect Tide on the ground. She hurriedly leaped up, and her six snowy-white fox tails whipped upward, rapidly expanding.
Oni Yunjie crashed into the soft cushion formed by the six tails with a thump, nearly punching straight through them.
From below, Tsukikage Hoshi asked anxiously, "Lady Yunji, are you all right?"
"I'm fine!"
Oni Yunjie gritted out
