Kanzaki Rin merely gave Li Yu a slight nod in greeting.
Then she sat down beside Fang Cheng and even picked up his cup to take a sip of water. "When are we going back?"
Li Yu pretended not to understand her blatant claim of ownership.
Fang Cheng, however, thought Kanzaki Rin was adorable when she acted so possessive.
He wanted nothing more than to get close to her right away, but Li Yu was here.
"Let's wait a few days before going back. First, we should see how things are outside."
Death Knight Death had died in Hokkaido. Fang Cheng wasn't sure how extreme the Foundation Church might get in response. The other three Apocalypse Knights might even come after them together.
So he decided to keep everyone gathered for the time being. If danger arose, he could send everyone into Subspace to take shelter at a moment's notice.
He also wanted Li Yu to stay a little longer for this reason.
With her there, they could look out for one another, even if they had to face all three Apocalypse Knights at once.

Kanzaki Rin explained the method of turning into a Monster, then asked, "What Monster's blood do you think would be best?"
Fang Cheng pondered. There weren't any Monsters in Area 11 stronger than Tamamo-no-Mae. Unfortunately, he'd already disposed of the corpses of the legendary Great Demons who'd come to attend the gathering of the Lord of Ten Thousand Monsters. He hadn't left behind a single drop of blood.
Like Kanzaki Rin, Fang Cheng immediately thought of the Human Revolutionary Alliance headquarters and glanced at Li Yu.
Li Yu smiled. "That Fox is always up to little schemes like this."
