Hungary, Székesfehérvár.

Also known as White City, this small tourist town had a population of only around a hundred thousand.

It had unexpectedly been dragged into Subspace and attacked by monsters emerging from the thick fog. The entire city had been laid waste, and not a single person remained alive.

Dracula was guarding a cemetery outside the city with a dozen or so Vampires and a Templar Knight.

Several kilometers ahead of the cemetery stood a gate at the edge of Subspace, waiting for someone destined to open it.

Although they had been waiting for several hours, Dracula remained composed and dignified, as patient as a lovesick fool waiting for the one he adored.

The Templar Knight stood motionless beside him, like a block of wood.

The dozen or so Vampires were nowhere near as patient. They had grumbled to themselves countless times.

Bevis huddled warily at the outermost edge. The Vampires clearly didn't look kindly on an outsider like him.

If Dracula weren't keeping them in check, Bevis had no doubt they would have pounced on him and killed him at the first opportunity.

He was torn. He hoped Fang Cheng would show up and rescue him from this dangerous situation.

At the same time, he hoped Fang Cheng wouldn't walk into this trap.

Caught between those conflicting, anxious thoughts, time flew by. Before long, several more hours had passed.

The Vampires grew increasingly impatient. Once the monsters had killed everyone in the city, they had turned their attention to them.

Soon, the cemetery was surrounded by countless monsters, and the Vampires had to deal with them themselves.

"Father."

Daisy walked over to Dracula. "It's been so long. Do you think..."

She left the rest unsaid, but the meaning was clear.

Dracula turned to look at her and sighed.
