Fang Cheng reassured Oni Yunjie that he would protect both the Iron-Cast Palace and Machine City, then agreed to supply the Iron-Cast Palace with Celestial God Serum once it could be mass-produced. Meanwhile, Machine City came under a wave of attacks by Area 11 monsters, and Kanzaki Rin recognized that the assaults were deliberate.

• Fang Cheng told Oni Yunjie that her purge was justified and promised to protect the Iron-Cast Palace and Machine City during the competition for the Lord of Ten Thousand Monsters.
• Oni Yunjie brought the Fox sisters to Fang Cheng and explained that Yuguang Kaori had beaten Tsukikage Hoshi after growing stronger, prompting her to ask for Celestial God Serum for the Iron-Cast Palace.
• Fang Cheng said the serum could not yet be mass-produced but promised to supply both the Iron-Cast Palace and Machine City at set proportions for production costs once it was available.
• Oni Yunjie kissed Fang Cheng passionately in front of Yuguang Kaori and Tsukikage Hoshi, who stepped outside and stood guard.

• Kanzaki Rin assigned Sato and Saya to support Takeda Masumi and asked Tsukikage Hatsuka to bring Iron-Cast Palace monsters into the sweep; she and Asaka Akie also agreed to quarantine monsters if their numbers exceeded the warning threshold.
• Sato Mai used drones to patrol the region between Machine City and the strait while controlling them remotely with her Electromagnetic Induction ability.
• Sato Mai spotted a huge Rift spreading across the ground from Uchiura Bay toward Machine City and estimated it would reach the city limits in less than three days.
• Sato Mai lost her connection to a drone that entered the Rift, then called her brother, Sato Junko, to warn him.

Kamikawa Takumi investigated a spreading fissure threatening Machine City and discovered an enormous underground tunnel flooded by seawater. There, he encountered Shuten-doji, who invited him to drink.

• Kujo Tairou told Kujo Go that he had gotten Reiko's number and planned to ask her to dinner and confess his feelings.
• Sato Junko showed Kanzaki Rin and Asaka Akie footage of a long fissure extending from Uchiura Bay toward Machine City, and Kanzaki sent Kamikawa Takumi to investigate.
• Kamikawa Takumi flew to the fissure on a Giant Eagle he had drawn and found dense demonic energy and a massive underground tunnel with an underground river.
• Kamikawa Takumi realized a powerful Monster was digging toward Machine City and flew deeper into the tunnel to confront it.
• Shuten-doji appeared on a Wine Gourd, blocked Kamikawa Takumi with a blade of light, and invited him to have a drink.

Kamikawa Takumi confronted Shuten-doji at the flooded Rift, then escaped using one of his many clones and helped Kanzaki Rin identify Ghost Cultivation Mountain as the monster targeting Machine City. Kanzaki Rin organized a response, called Fang Cheng back, and left with Kamikawa Takumi and Ye Yuqing to face the threat.

• Shuten-doji poisoned Kamikawa Takumi through a wine cup, but Takumi revealed he was a clone and attacked Shuten-doji with his steel pen.
• Shuten-doji copied Takumi’s ability, surrounded him with nine other copies, and killed the clone.
• Kamikawa Takumi switched to a new clone and told Kanzaki Rin and Asaka Akie that Shuten-doji had blocked him from reaching the monster digging toward Machine City.
• Kanzaki Rin identified the digging monster as Ghost Cultivation Mountain and concluded that stopping it and Shuten-doji would require Fang Cheng’s help.
• Kanzaki Rin ordered Asaka Akie to coordinate the city’s defenses, called Fang Cheng to return, and set out with Kamikawa Takumi and Ye Yuqing.

Fang Cheng rushed back toward Machine City after Shuten-doji allied with Ghost Cultivation Mountain and threatened Yuguang Mirai, but an attacker ambushed him over Furano. Meanwhile, monsters from around the world began arriving in Hokkaido to compete for the title of Lord of Ten Thousand Monsters.

• Fang Cheng sparred with Oni Yunjie at Sky Lake until Kanzaki Rin called to report that Shuten-doji and Ghost Cultivation Mountain were targeting Machine City and Mirai.
• Fang Cheng agreed to return to Machine City, and Oni Yunjie sent Yuguang Kaori with him while Tsukikage Hoshi stayed behind to help manage the Iron-Cast Palace.

• Kanzaki Rin brought Ye Yuqing to the Rift, where she and Kamikawa Takumi explained their plan to summon Tsukimi Mei and cripple Ghost Cultivation Mountain.
• Tsukimi Mei carved a trench to the monsters’ tunnel and poured Black Flame underground, forcing Ghost Cultivation Mountain to emerge as a burning mountain-sized turtle.
• Shuten-doji tried to extinguish the Black Flame with liquor from his Wine Gourd, but Kamikawa Takumi blocked it with a wall he drew while Kanzaki Rin attacked as a Fire Phoenix.

• Sato Mai and Tsukikage Hatsuka warned Qingxue that monsters across Machine City had gone berserk, and Qingxue continued toward the Sanctuary with Ugou Mirai and the Giant Egg.
• The Nine-Tailed Fox shielded Qingxue from Shuten-doji's attack, then joined her in fighting him when he demanded the egg.

• Fang Cheng’s clone punched Shuten-doji’s head apart and sent Qingxue, the Giant Egg, and the Nine-Tailed Fox fleeing.

• Fang Cheng recognized Death in the forest, reassured Yuguang Kaori, and concluded that the Foundation Church’s God was likely an Evil God.
• Death declared that he would judge Fang Cheng, and Fang Cheng sent Yuguang Kaori away in a blood-made fighter jet before challenging Death’s authority.
• Izanae warned Fang Cheng that Death’s right arm was Mother’s Right Arm, and Death’s green beam overpowered Fang Cheng’s Solar Rays.
• Fang Cheng’s blood-based attacks failed, and Death teleported behind him and struck him with a force that corroded his arms.

• Kanzaki Rin awoke beneath an aurora in a transformed Hokkaido and realized the competition had begun and separated her from Ye Yuqing and her brother.
• Kanzaki Rin found Ye Yuqing battling black Kappas by a river and helped her burn them away.
• Kanzaki Rin pulled Ye Yuqing away from the river, climbed onto her back, and directed her to fly toward Machine City.
• Asaka Akie found herself outside Machine City after the world changed and heard Izanae warn her to watch the area beyond the city.
• Asaka Akie flew out to investigate and saw the plain filled with huge, black-skinned Monsters with glowing red eyes.

Asaka Akie contained the monsters rampaging through Machine City and sent Tsukikage Hatsuka to contact the Ark spacecraft while she prepared to defend the city from the approaching horde. Meanwhile, Qingxue and the Nine-Tailed Fox found themselves stranded in the wilderness, where they spotted a gourd.

• Asaka Akie flew through Machine City and used Izanae's power to trap the rampaging monsters in illusions.
• Asaka Akie and Takeda Masumi realized the Lord of Ten Thousand Monsters contest had begun, and Asaka Akie asked Tsukikage Hatsuka to contact the Ark spacecraft in Uchiura Bay.
• Asaka Akie ordered Takeda Masumi to gather Machine City's residents for evacuation, then went outside the city to face the threat and spotted a Black-Skinned Monster.

• Fang Cheng introduced himself as Liu Lin and learned that Li Yu had come to compete for Lord of Ten Thousand Monsters, though she claimed not to be human or a Monster.
• Li Yu displayed extraordinary abilities, vanished and reappeared over great distances, and warned Fang Cheng to hide when darkness fell.

• Fang Cheng discovered that Li Yu’s game console could transform into her Proof, though Li Yu said it could only become inanimate objects and could not explain Ugou Mirai.
• Fang Cheng sensed an approaching enemy, and the ground shook as the Kraken burst up from beneath the ruins.
• Li Yu flew into the air and struck the Kraken with repeated bolts of lightning, while Fang Cheng recognized her abilities as unlike powers he had seen before.
