The Legendary Super Saiyan

Videl and Gohan looked at Yun Feng, covered in wounds, and both felt consumed by guilt.

"Yun Feng got hurt because he faced that monster alone to save me." Videl couldn't stop her tears from falling.

Gohan clenched his fists. "Dad, let's train hard from now on. I don't want to feel so helpless again."

After a day of rest, Yun Feng finally recovered, and Videl returned to the city.

Yun Feng roughly calculated the timing. It was almost time for Broly's father to come to Earth looking for Vegeta.

Yun Feng recalled the original story. Because Broly's potential far surpassed that of Prince Vegeta, King Vegeta had banished him to the dark, distant Planet Vampa.

Furious, Paragus left King Vegeta, stole a spaceship, and set off with his companion Beets to find his beloved son, Broly. He and Beets found Broly alive on Planet Vampa, but their spaceship had malfunctioned, leaving them unable to return to Planet Vegeta.

On the harsh world of Planet Vampa, Paragus killed Beets to conserve food. His hatred for King Vegeta's family also drove him to keep fighting to survive there with Broly.

Years later, Paragus prepared to take revenge on King Vegeta, as Broly's strength continued to grow. But he eventually discovered that Frieza had wiped out the Saiyans and destroyed their planet.

For a time, Paragus lost the will to go on living, but his son Broly had survived.

At last, he learned that King Vegeta's son, Vegeta, was alive and well on Earth. A plan began to form in his mind.

First, he had someone make a device to control Broly's power. Then he found a planet with only a month left before its destruction and built a castle there.

He then set off for Earth in a spaceship, ready to take revenge on Vegeta.

Yun Feng knew the general outline of the story. As long as he stayed by Vegeta's side, Broly's father was sure to show up. Then he could complete his mission and repay the reward he'd received in advance.

"Goku, I'm planning to stay with Vegeta for a few days. I heard Bulma made him a great gravity training device, and I want to try it out. You and Gohan should come with me."

Goku nodded. "Gohan has to go to school in the city, so he won't be coming."

Goku and Yun Feng used Instant Transmission to go straight to Bulma's house.

Bulma was drinking coffee when Goku and Yun Feng suddenly appeared. "Hey, Bulma."

"Goku, Yun Feng, what are you two doing here together?" Bulma asked in surprise.

Yun Feng smiled. "We came to check out Vegeta's gravity training device. Where is he?"

"Where else would he be? He's definitely training in the Gravity Room."

Bulma led Goku and Yun Feng to a Gravity Room shaped like a spaceship. Yun Feng stepped inside. The room was red, and the gravity was terrifying. The moment he entered, it felt like he was carrying a mountain on his back.

He glanced at the instrument panel. It read 200, so the gravity must have been two hundred times normal. Vegeta was moving around inside, training. Several spherical objects floated in the air, bouncing Light Blasts back at him to train his reflexes.

Yun Feng shook his head. "Vegeta's taking this way too far." Then he walked out.

After finishing his training, Vegeta passed by Goku and Yun Feng. "Why aren't you two training? What are you doing here?"

"Just looking around," Yun Feng said. Vegeta snorted and walked off.

Suddenly, Vegeta, Goku, and Yun Feng all sensed what seemed to be a spaceship approaching Earth, along with several unfamiliar energy signatures.

"Goku, let's go take a look. Vegeta, do you want to come?" Yun Feng asked.

Vegeta replied proudly, "I'm going, but I won't rely on your help." With that, he flew off. Yun Feng followed, and Goku trailed behind them.

Bulma poured everyone some juice, then came out and saw that they had all flown away. "Where are you going? You just got here, and now you're leaving?"

When they arrived at the spaceship's landing site, Vegeta immediately went on guard. After Frieza and Cooler had come seeking revenge, they had all become more cautious.

The hatch opened, and a man with a scar over one eye stepped out, accompanied by a short, thin man with a tail tied around his waist and a battle suit on.

Saiyans? The Saiyan leading the group walked up to Vegeta. He recognized him at a glance, because Vegeta looked so much like his father.

He stopped in front of Vegeta and knelt on one knee. "Prince Vegeta, I'm Paragus. I'd like to ask you to come to New Planet Vegeta and take charge."

Vegeta was surprised. "You're a Saiyan?"

"Yes, Prince Vegeta. I was carrying out a mission on another planet, so I survived. I've rebuilt Planet Vegeta, and I hope you'll come and take charge."

Vegeta started to follow him. Looking back at Goku and Yun Feng, he said, "You two are Saiyans as well, aren't you? Come along, too."

Yun Feng and Goku followed them aboard the spaceship. After introducing himself, Paragus gestured to the Saiyan behind him. "This is my son, Broly."

Yun Feng was shocked. So this is Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan. It looks like his father is keeping his power under control for now.

But Yun Feng knew that Goku was the key to unlocking Broly's power. The two had been placed next to each other when they were born, and Goku's cries had left a deep impression on Broly.

Broly looked thin and somewhat listless as he greeted everyone. But the moment he saw Son Goku, his expression changed, and the energy around him began to expand.

Paragus jumped in fright and quickly used the controller in his hand to suppress Broly.

Vegeta glanced over but said nothing. Yun Feng smiled. Just as I thought.

They soon reached New Planet Vegeta. Paragus had a car take the three of them to the castle.

In truth, the planet Paragus had chosen had only a month left before it would collide with a meteor and be destroyed. He planned to use it to eliminate Vegeta, then have Broly rule the universe.

Goku and Yun Feng wandered aimlessly around the castle. Vegeta was a prince, after all, and received very different treatment from them.

Yun Feng was looking for a chance to get Broly alone, awaken his power, and fight him to complete his mission.

"Master, why is Vegeta still dreaming of being a prince? Why don't we just go back?" Goku said, bored.

Yun Feng suddenly spoke in a mysterious tone. "Don't rush, Goku. There's a powerful fighter here. Don't you want to test yourself against him?"

At the mention of a powerful fighter, Goku perked up. No wonder he was such a battle maniac—he had Saiyan blood running through his veins.

The next day, Paragus accompanied Vegeta on a tour of the planet. Yun Feng took Goku to Broly's room and kicked the door open. Broly was sitting inside, looking listless.

Broly turned around and saw Goku. Suddenly, he powered up. "Kakarot! Kakarot!"

His energy grew stronger and stronger. Yun Feng grabbed Goku and flew outside, and Broly followed them out.

Broly's power kept surging. "Kakarot!" Green flames rose around him, and his hair turned green.

As expected, Broly was the Legendary Super Saiyan. Though he was only a Super Saiyan 1, his combat power was terrifying. As Broly lost control, his terrifying energy kept pouring out, his muscles rapidly swelling as his power continued to grow.

"Master, Broly's the powerful fighter you meant? I never would've guessed he had so much power inside him."

The system immediately displayed Broly's information.

Power: Legendary Super Saiyan 1 (Ancient Super Saiyan 1), combat power: 500 billion, possibly even higher.

Looking at the combat power displayed by the system, Yun Feng was stunned. He's a monster! He's even stronger than a Super Saiyan 2. No wonder they call him the Legendary Super Saiyan. I've heard there's only one in each era. Looks like that was true—Broly is the one.

Since the system had given him this mission, he had no choice but to fight. "Goku, let's go and test Broly's strength."
