The Legendary Super Saiyan

Videl and Gohan looked at the battered Yun Feng, both consumed by self-reproach.

"Yun Feng only faced that monster alone to save me," Videl sobbed, her tears flowing uncontrollably.

Gohan clenched his fists. "Dad, let's undergo special training later. I don't want to feel this helpless ever again."

After a day of rest, Yun Feng finally recovered, and Videl returned to the city.

Yun Feng roughly calculated the time; it was almost time for Broly's father to arrive on Earth in search of Vegeta.

Yun Feng recalled the original plot: because Broly's potential far surpassed Prince Vegeta's, King Vegeta had banished Broly to the dark, distant Planet Vampa.

Enraged, Paragus left King Vegeta, hijacked a spaceship, and took his companion Beets to find his beloved son, Broly. They found Broly alive on Planet Vampa, but the ship they arrived in malfunctioned, making it impossible to return to Planet Vegeta.

In the harsh environment of Planet Vampa, Paragus killed Beets to conserve food. His hatred for King Vegeta's family fueled his and Broly's tenacious struggle for survival.

Years later, Paragus prepared to take revenge on King Vegeta, as Broly's strength grew ever greater, only to discover that Frieza had wiped out the Saiyans and destroyed their planet.

Paragus lost his will to live for a time, kept going only because his son Broly had survived.

Finally, he discovered that King Vegeta's son, Vegeta, was still living safely on Earth, and a plan began to form in his mind.

He first had someone craft a control device to suppress Broly's power, then found a planet with only a month of life left and built a castle upon it.

He then boarded a spaceship and set off for Earth, preparing to take his revenge on Vegeta.

Yun Feng knew the general plot: as long as he stayed by Vegeta's side, he would certainly be able to wait for Broly's father to arrive, allowing him to complete his mission and repay his advanced reward.

"Goku, I'm planning to stay at Vegeta's place for a few days. I heard the gravity training device Bulma made for him is quite good, and I want to give it a try. Why don't you and Gohan come with me?"

Goku nodded. "Gohan has to go to school in the city, so he won't be coming."

Goku and Yun Feng used Instant Transmission to arrive directly at Bulma's home.

Bulma was drinking coffee when Goku and Yun Feng suddenly appeared. "Hi, Bulma."

"Goku, Yun Feng, why are you two here together?" Bulma asked in surprise.

Yun Feng laughed, "We came to check out Vegeta's gravity training device. Where is he?"

"Where else would he be? He's definitely training in the Gravity Room."

Bulma led Goku and Yun Feng to a spaceship-like Gravity Room. Yun Feng walked inside; the environment was bathed in red, and the gravity was terrifying. The moment he stepped in, he felt as if a mountain had been placed on his back.

Looking at the instrument panel, it read 200—it seemed to be set to 200 times gravity. Vegeta was moving around inside, training, while several spherical objects in the air fired energy blasts to train his reflexes.

Yun Feng shook his head. "Vegeta is really pushing it." He walked back out.

After finishing his training, Vegeta passed by Goku and Yun Feng. "Why aren't you two training properly? What are you doing over here?"

"Just wandering around," Yun Feng said. Vegeta snorted and walked away.

Suddenly, Vegeta, Goku, and Yun Feng all sensed several spaceships approaching Earth, along with several unfamiliar ki signatures.

"Goku, let's go take a look. Vegeta, are you coming?" Yun Feng asked.

Vegeta spoke proudly, "I'm going, but I won't rely on your strength." With that, he flew off. Yun Feng followed, with Goku trailing behind.

Bulma, who had just brought out juice for everyone, saw them flying away. "Where are you all going? Why leave as soon as you arrived?"

Upon reaching the landing site, Vegeta grew alert. After the vendettas of Frieza and Cooler, he had become instinctively cautious.

The hatch opened, and a man with a scar over his eye stepped out, accompanied by a thin man with a tail tied around his waist, wearing battle armor.

A Saiyan? The lead Saiyan walked up to Vegeta. He recognized him instantly, as Vegeta looked exactly like his father.

He knelt on one knee before Vegeta. "Prince Vegeta, I am Paragus. I wish to invite you to New Planet Vegeta to take command."

Vegeta asked in surprise, "You are a Saiyan?"

Paragus replied, "Yes, Prince Vegeta. I was away on a mission on another planet, so I escaped the disaster. I have rebuilt Planet Vegeta and hope the Prince will come to preside over it."

Vegeta followed him, then looked at Goku and Yun Feng behind him. "You two are Saiyans as well, right? Come along with us."

Yun Feng and Goku followed. Once inside the spaceship, Paragus introduced the other Saiyan: "This is my son, Broly."

Yun Feng was shocked. This was the Legendary Super Saiyan, Broly. It seemed his power was currently being suppressed by his father.

However, Yun Feng knew that the key to unlocking Broly was Goku, as the two had been placed next to each other at birth, and Goku's crying had been deeply etched into Broly's heart.

Broly looked thin and somewhat listless as he greeted everyone, but the moment he saw Son Goku, his expression changed, and his ki began to expand slowly.

Paragus was startled and quickly used the controller in his hand to suppress Broly.

Vegeta glanced at them but said nothing. Yun Feng smiled; just as expected.

A short while later, they arrived at New Planet Vegeta, and the three were driven to the castle by Paragus.

In truth, the planet Paragus had chosen had only a month of life left; in a month, it would collide with a meteor in space. He intended to use this to eliminate Vegeta and eventually rule the universe with Broly.

Goku and Yun Feng wandered aimlessly around the castle; after all, Vegeta was a prince, so he received different treatment.

Yun Feng was looking for an opportunity to isolate Broly, activate his power, and fight him to complete the mission.

"Master, why does Vegeta still dream of being a prince? We should just go back," Goku said, bored.

Yun Feng said mysteriously, "Goku, don't be so impatient. There are experts here. Don't you want to test yourself?"

Goku's spirits lifted the moment he heard there were experts. He was a true battle maniac, after all, with the blood of the warrior Saiyan race flowing through his veins.

The next day, Paragus finally accompanied Vegeta to inspect the planet, so Yun Feng took Goku to Broly's dwelling. He kicked the door open to find Broly sitting inside, looking listless.

Broly turned around, stared at Goku, and suddenly erupted with energy: "Kakarot, Kakarot."

As his aura grew increasingly intense, Yun Feng grabbed Goku and flew outside, with Broly following close behind.

Broly's combat power began to skyrocket. Green flames rose around his body as he shouted "Kakarot," and his hair turned green.

As expected, Broly was the Legendary Super Saiyan. Although he was only at the first stage, his combat power was terrifyingly high. As Broly lost control, a fearsome aura surged forth, his muscles bulged rapidly, and his energy continued to swell.

"Master, is Broly the strong fighter you mentioned? I couldn't tell at all that he possessed such immense power within him."

The system immediately displayed Broly's information.

Race: Pure-blooded Saiyan

Strength: Legendary Super Saiyan First Grade (Ancient Super Saiyan First Grade), Combat Power: 500 billion, or even higher.

Looking at the combat power provided by the system, Yun Feng was stunned. What a freak! He was actually stronger than a Super Saiyan 2. He truly lived up to the name of the Legendary Super Saiyan; it was said that only one existed in any given era, and it seemed certain now that this person was Broly.

Since the system had issued this mission, he had no choice but to engage: "Goku, let's go. Let's test Broly's strength."
