The Birth of a New Majin Buu

Gohan swung the Z Sword. Unlike when he had first started, he could now wield it with ease.

Supreme Kai Axin suddenly said, "Let's test how sharp the Z Sword is. Maybe it's sharp enough to kill Majin Buu in one blow."

Kibito then produced a large diamond. If they were going to test the sword, they might as well use the hardest substance in the world.

"Gohan, slice that diamond up as easily as tofu," Supreme Kai said confidently.

Gohan gripped the Z Sword. "Bring it on. Let me see just how sharp this sword is."

Kibito was confident in the sacred sword too. After all, it was the Z Sword, passed down by the Supreme Kais for generations.

Kibito tossed the diamond toward Gohan, who brought the sword down with all his might.

Clang!

The Z Sword broke...

Kibito and Supreme Kai's jaws nearly hit the floor. "How could it break? This is the Z Sword!"

"Young men, you're ignorant. But I never expected the one who freed me to be a mortal. What a disgrace for the Supreme Kais."

The three of them looked over. An old man wearing earrings and Supreme Kai robes had appeared before them.

Axin asked, "Who are you? Why are you here, and why are you wearing Supreme Kai robes?"

The old man smiled. "I am the fifteenth Supreme Kai."

"The fifteenth Supreme Kai?" Supreme Kai Axin and Kibito exclaimed in surprise.

"Then you're my ancestor," Axin said. "I never thought you'd be sealed inside the sword."

"Alas, what a disgrace for the Supreme Kais. I thought one of the Supreme Kais would free me, but instead it was a mortal."

Supreme Kai Axin blushed. "I'm sorry, Ancestor. I was incapable."

"Enough. It seems you've run into some trouble. How else would a mortal have ended up in the Supreme Kai World?"

Supreme Kai Axin told him about Majin Buu, including how he had killed the Supreme Kais.

"Majin Buu... What a terrifying monster. There was nothing like him in my era. It seems he appeared sometime after that."

"You, boy, come here." Gohan slowly walked over. The fifteenth Supreme Kai placed a hand on Gohan's chest. A moment later, he said, "This young man has incredible potential. Unfortunately, so much of it remains untapped."

"Ancestor, you can do that?" Axin asked excitedly.

"All right, your name is Gohan, correct? I'll draw out your potential. Then you should be able to defeat Majin Buu."

Gohan spoke up. "How long will it take to draw out my potential, sir? I'm worried about Earth."

"Don't worry. Earth is fine for now. I sense someone there with immense power, someone no weaker than Majin Buu. Earth is safe. Now sit down. The process will take twelve hours. Sit cross-legged, and leave the rest to me."

The fifteenth Supreme Kai sat opposite Gohan and raised his glowing hands. Gohan was enveloped in light.

Mr. Satan spent every day serving Majin Buu. Buu went out to kill people during the day, then came home at night to enjoy the delicious food Satan made. It was a fairly comfortable life.

One day, when Majin Buu was about to go out and kill people, Satan asked, "Lord Majin Buu, why do you kill Earthlings?"

When Satan saw that Majin Buu wasn't answering, he hurriedly took it back, frightened. "Do whatever you like, sir. I didn't say anything."

Majin Buu suddenly spoke. "Satan, do you think killing people is bad? When I was with Babidi, he kept telling me to kill people. That's why I kept doing it."

Satan suddenly sensed a chance to change things. "Mr. Majin Buu, I think killing people is wrong. We shouldn't kill anyone."

Majin Buu suddenly smiled. "If Satan thinks it's wrong, then I won't kill anyone anymore."

"I really am the world champion. I convinced Majin Buu without even breaking a sweat," Satan said smugly.

Majin Buu said he was going out for a walk, then came back a little later with a dog in his hands. "Satan, why isn't this dog afraid of me? Everyone else runs away when they see me."

Satan took a look. "It's hurt."

Majin Buu placed a hand on the little dog, and it recovered.

"All right, you're better now. Run along. I'm going to kill you."

But how could the dog run from the very person who had saved its life? It kept licking Majin Buu, and wherever Buu went, the dog followed.

"So this dog likes me just like Satan does. Then let's live together," Majin Buu said.

Majin Buu and Satan spent their days training the dog and feeding it. For the first time in his life, Majin Buu felt happy.

But their peaceful days didn't last. A few evil men carrying guns broke into Majin Buu's home.

Majin Buu was training the little dog that day. He tossed a flying disc, and the dog fetched it. He threw it again, and just as the dog was about to bring it back, a gunshot rang out. The little dog had been shot.

Majin Buu began acting strangely. Steam rose from his head as he glared angrily at the man who had shot the dog.

Satan rushed forward and punched the man who had shot the dog, sending him flying. The man hurriedly raised his gun and shot Mr. Satan.

Majin Buu grew even more unstable. Steam kept rising from his head as he slowly walked over and placed a hand on the dog. The dog recovered.

He then slowly walked over to Satan and placed a hand on him. Satan came back to life.

Satan looked at himself happily. "Buu, you really are amazing."

But Satan could tell something was wrong with Buu.

"Satan, take the dog and get out of here!" Majin Buu roared.

As Majin Buu's good nature stirred, the evil part of his body began to awaken. Then, seeing Satan and the dog injured, his evil nature was stirred again, and he began to lose control.

Suddenly, countless clouds of smoke billowed from the top of his head. They lingered in the air for a long time before gathering together and forming another Majin Buu.

A thin, blue-green Majin Buu appeared—a Majin Buu who was pure evil.

"Satan, get the dog out of here! I'll hold him off!" Fat Majin Buu shouted.

Fat Majin Buu and Thin Majin Buu clashed. The terrifying energy sent Satan flying hundreds of meters away. He hid behind a large rock and watched the battle.

"Come on, Buu!" Satan cheered for Fat Majin Buu.

After hundreds of exchanges, Fat Majin Buu was clearly losing. Evil Majin Buu had taken a great deal of energy with him when he emerged.

Fat Majin Buu threw a punch, but Thin Majin Buu ducked low and kicked him away.

Fat Majin Buu tore off a piece of his own flesh and wrapped Thin Majin Buu up in it, then fired a beam of light at him.

Boom...

A terrifying explosion rang out, and Thin Majin Buu was blown to pieces.

"Great job, Buu! You did it—you defeated him!" Satan began to say, but then he saw Thin Majin Buu return to normal.

The two vanished from the ground in a flash. Two silhouettes appeared in the sky, fighting as terrifying waves of energy rippled out around them.

After hundreds of exchanges, Fat Majin Buu was clearly falling behind in both strength and stamina. He jumped back, and the antenna on his head began to glow. "Turn into chocolate!"

A pink bolt of lightning shot toward Thin Majin Buu, but Thin Majin Buu spat out a cloud of smoke that pushed it back toward Fat Majin Buu.

Bzzt, bzzt, bzzt...

Fat Majin Buu turned into chocolate. Thin Majin Buu picked it up and ate it. Steam rose from his whole body, and a moment later, Majin Buu had transformed into a muscular Majin Buu.

His power became even more terrifying. A vast, evil aura radiated from the muscular Majin Buu.

The muscular Majin Buu immediately turned into a mass of mud, rushed into the mouth of the man who had shot Satan, and exploded.

Majin Buu reformed in the air, then charged toward Satan. Just as he was about to hit him, Majin Buu suddenly clutched his head in pain before flying away.

Satan held the little dog and stared blankly at Majin Buu as he flew off. "Buu still remembers me."
