Chapter Summaries

As the allied nations’ forces closed in on the Land of Rain, Nagato learned that a toad-scented intruder had entered and went to confront him. Uchiha Qingfeng recognized the intruder as Jiraiya and chased after Nagato to stop him from killing his former teacher.

• Zetsu reported that the forces from the Land of Wind, Land of Fire, and Land of Earth were approaching, and Nagato ordered the Akatsuki Organization to leave the next day.

• Uchiha Qingfeng arrived at Iwagakure with Akatsuki and one hundred thousand White Zetsu, terrifying the Ninja left to defend the village.
• Uchiha Qingfeng stopped Nagato from immediately attacking and gave Iwagakure until sunset to hand over the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki.

• Zetsu told Orochimaru that the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki was secretly kept by Ōnoki, while Orochimaru said the reanimated forces should be enough to win.

• Nagato repeatedly attacked the reanimated Hanzo of the Salamander, while Yahiko and Konan tried to calm him.
• Uchiha Qingfeng supported Nagato’s call for revenge, and Nagato ordered Orochimaru to make the enemy feel pain.
