Things developed much as Sui Xiong had expected.
Faced with this document issued by His Majesty Void Mask, the rulers of the nations across the main plane were all deeply displeased—but only displeased.
In fact, not even one of them spoke out in condemnation.
Not a single one, including the Church of the God of Nobility.
Sui Xiong figured this was probably Veye's doing.
That fellow Veye had most likely embroidered what Sui Xiong said at the time before repeating it to others. Then those people exaggerated it even further and passed it on again.
Sui Xiong had already sounded murderous enough at the time. After being embellished and exaggerated a few more times, it had probably turned into something like: "There's a man named Aaron somewhere—there's a dragon somewhere—there's a dangerous evil dragon somewhere—there's an evil dragon somewhere that burns, kills, pillages, and commits every wickedness imaginable—there's an evil dragon somewhere that recently kidnapped a princess and slaughtered the knights who tried to slay it."
When facing such a danger, those who would still dare step forward and speak for justice... well, Sui Xiong certainly did not think those kings and great nobles had that kind of nerve.
As for the God of Nobility, Sui Xiong was somewhat puzzled. By all rights, this deity ought at least to have issued a declaration criticizing his actions as turning back the wheel of history, as retrograde conduct that would estrange him from the people... blah blah blah. Sui Xiong had even prepared himself to debate the god. Lately, he had worked hard to recall all manner of debate routines and sociological materials he had seen online in his previous life, listing them out whether they were useful or not, then carefully considering and studying them in preparation for a great battle.
