But this ability also had its drawbacks. It could be dispelled by the spell Dispel Magic, or scattered by powerful negative energy. A paladin transformed into a giant would not gain any boost in intelligence, willpower, or agility, so spells such as Confusion and Slow could still affect him. If he faced a party of mid-level adventurers with a sound composition and abundant combat experience, even using this ability would only grant him a temporary advantage.
But when dealing with Demonic Beasts, these problems were no longer problems.
