"This is the best news I've heard all day!" Upon learning that the drought was about to end, Sui Xiong could not help but laugh. "These past six months have truly worn me out!"
"To be honest, everyone has been rather surprised that you managed to hold on until now!" Veye said. "More than one evil deity opened betting pools on whether you would die of exhaustion or give up. Not a single one bet that you would persevere to the end and succeed."

Veye turned away, seemingly admiring the view outside the window, and sincerely praised it. "Oh my, I've just noticed that there's a cluster of very beautiful flowers outside the meeting room!"
