The ascension of two gods, the purification of Ash Forest, the ancient God of Death's utter downfall... Under normal circumstances, any one of these would have been a headline-grabbing topic, enough to keep people talking for three to five years.
But before the looming fight to the death between the Human Pantheon and the Orc Pantheon—a war for which both sides had recruited allies wherever possible, one expected to drag nearly a third of the gods in the Pantheon into its whirlpool—none of those things were worth mentioning.
At the very least, Sui Xiong belonged to the neutral faction. The entire Void Pantheon had clearly stated that it would not join the war, as had several subordinate gods of human origin.
Justice God Jormungandr had likewise explicitly declared his neutrality. He, too, was a god of human origin, and one of the strongest among the human gods. The gods generally considered him one of the contenders for the throne of "strongest beneath Great Divine Power."

The chief god of the Orc Pantheon, Lefeng the "Devouring Sky Dog," was generally not counted among these contenders. Though he was powerful, he lacked the unfathomable air of the God of Fate and the astonishing, glorious record of the Justice God. It was hard for him to win universal recognition.
