But today, as the aura of the Abyss surged madly and swept toward the material plane of the World Ring like a tidal wave, one deity stood in its path—and even launched an attack upon the Abyss in return.
At this moment, Sui Xiong had transformed into an incomparably colossal beast. Each of his outstretched tentacles was large enough to wrap around a slightly smaller world. His body shone with dazzling brilliance, as though he alone could hold back the torrent of chaotic evil pouring forth from the Abyss.
The Pantheon was in an uproar. More than one deity cried out in alarm, and the scene was utter chaos.
Amid the commotion, Jormungandr, the Justice God, stepped forward.
"When facing demon gods, anyone below powerful divine power is simply throwing their life away. So, among those with powerful divine power, whoever is willing to fight to protect the world, step forward! My brother Oscar has already rushed to the front lines. I'll be there shortly as well. Whoever wishes to fight beside us, follow!"
With that, a flash of light and his figure vanished. He did not even spare the power needed to maintain this communication avatar, instead drawing upon all his strength to condense an enormous true divine form and fly toward the Abyss.
Immediately afterward, Wenna, the War God, stepped forward as well. Laughing heartily, he said, "As the War God, how could I miss a great battle against demon gods?"
Then, with another flash of light, his true form set out and sped straight toward the Abyss.
