The great Lord of Order, who had long sat high upon the Wheel of Order and ruled the entire world—He who could be called the king of the Great Cycle—could no longer withstand the jet-black Lord of Glory. Every few exchanges, He would take another step back. Though His retreat was slow, the fact that He could not defeat the Lord of Glory was plain for all to see.
