Because the Lord of Order had split off part of His power to heal the God of Nobility, He failed to block the Lord of Glory's fist.
That punch landed squarely. Not a fraction of its immense power was wasted; it punched straight through the Lord of Order's body, sending silver-white blood spraying in every direction.
Worse still, along with this attack, the Lord of Glory's power finally found a weakness and began corroding the Lord of Order's body from the wound.
For an expert at the level of Great Divine Power, such a blow could practically be called a victory-securing strike.
But the Lord of Glory did not pause. He immediately pressed the attack, every punch targeting the hole blasted through the Lord of Order's chest. Although the Lord of Order urgently grew a third arm to help defend Himself, He was still hard-pressed on all sides and was struck time and again.
Yet even in such an utterly disadvantageous situation, the Lord of Order was still doing His utmost to heal the God of Nobility.
To Him, healing the God of Nobility was safeguarding the order of this world, and killing the Lord of Glory was likewise safeguarding the order of this world. When the two came into conflict, He could not choose between them. He could only force Himself to do both.
Protecting the order of this world was the Lord of Order's divine portfolio. It was both His conviction and His sorrow.
Over the years, He had encountered the dilemma of "two matters that protected order coming into conflict" more than once. Back then, He had possessed enough power to break through the dilemma and achieve the best of both worlds.
But today, He finally no longer possessed the strength to achieve the best of both
