Sui Xiong had a very, very long dream.
In the dream, he had traveled to another world and become a giant jellyfish. He roamed and cultivated in the sea, then later came ashore, went through all sorts of strange experiences, gained immense power, and accomplished many remarkable things.
In the end, everything returned to calm. He went back into the sea, gave up all his power, did nothing at all, and simply drifted with the waves like an utterly ordinary plate of cold jellyfish salad.
He felt as though something was wrong, yet it also seemed as though nothing was wrong. He just floated in the sea, drifting and drifting, carefree and at ease.
Who knew how long he drifted? Gradually, he grew bored again, restless after too much stillness.
But when he wanted to do something, he suddenly discovered that he could no longer control his body.
He could still feel his body with perfect clarity—feel every tentacle stroke, feel the seawater flowing past him, even feel the sea breeze blowing not far above his head.
But he no longer possessed even the slightest bit of strength. He could not even swim like an ordinary jellyfish, only lie in the seawater and drift with the current, utterly without any ability to act on his own.
Sui Xiong was greatly startled and hurriedly—then discovered that there was nothing he could do except panic.
He lay there in the sea, drifting wherever the waves took him, floating here and there, anxious as if his heart were on fire yet helpless to do anything.
Gradually, his mood calmed once more, like the empty sea surface. Though waves rose and fell upon it, it was truly empty of all things.
Strangely enough, this ocean was vast and boundless, yet no matter how long
