Looking at the squads before him, Jiang Yun recalled his recent conversation with Dr. Brief. These people were not only outstanding in combat but also possessed an incredibly rich wealth of battle experience.
The Blazing Squad stood before him, dressed in red-and-white combat uniforms that looked both striking and formidable.
It was a uniform design Jiang Yun had personally crafted for them.
"Bu Chen, you're coming along this time too. Is that alright?"
Jiang Yun looked toward the young man beside him and asked gently.
"Hahaha! It's no problem at all. We've finally gotten onto the right track, and that kid Bu Fan has already reached a battle power of over three thousand."
"But he didn't join the Blazing Squad; he said he wanted to secure a stable rear for us. Otherwise, I'm sure he could have served as a squad leader in the Blazing Squad!"
"We don't need to worry about that kid Bu Fan anymore. He's already capable of holding his own!"
Bu Chen laughed heartily. After all, seeing his younger brother—the person he cared about most—grow up was his greatest source of comfort.
Jiang Yun was also quite satisfied with Bu Fan. Although the boy was still a bit green, with a little more tempering, he would certainly be capable of overseeing a territory of his own.
As for Bu Chen, in Jiang Yun's eyes, his future lay in the vast sea of stars.
"Alright, everything is ready!"
"Move out!"
Jiang Yun shouted, wasting no time as he led his people onto the spaceship.
The group boarded the vessel swiftly without a hint of disorder. This was all thanks to Bu Chen, who had put them through a period of militarized training; Jiang Yun had praised him for his high level of command talent.
As everyone stepped into the ship, it immediately began to accelerate toward the starry sky.
Sigh.
A sigh echoed through the air.
"Guardian of Earth, what are you looking at? Are you watching that boy you mentioned again?"
A figure appeared beside the Guardian of Earth.
"Alas, I only hope he does not bring disaster upon the Earth!"
The Guardian of Earth let out a long sigh.
"But Guardian of Earth, didn't you say he was a righteous youth?"
"I did, Popo. His Vital Energy feels very upright; there isn't a shred of malice in it."
The Guardian of Earth shook his head and continued, "Even though he lacks an evil heart, I worry he will bring calamity to the Earth. His ambition is simply too great!"
"I began watching him the moment he climbed Korin Tower. I have always felt he would bring about a massive change to the world, though I cannot tell if that change will be for better or for worse."
"I even considered teaching him for a time, but I discovered that his cultivation progressed too quickly—terrifyingly so. His strength has already far surpassed my own."
"Now that he has set off into the universe, I can only hope he brings benefits to the world. At the very least, what he has done so far has been good! He is a righteous martial artist, after all."
The Guardian of Earth sighed to himself. It had been a long time since he felt something was beyond his control.
Yet, facing the current Jiang Yun, he could only choose to maintain friendly relations. He even suspected that the terrifying young man could sense his surveillance.
And that was indeed the case. After Jiang Yun grasped the Breath of All Things and felt the existence of Vital Energy, his mental power had been honed to such a degree that it was no longer inferior to the Guardian of Earth, allowing him to perceive the gaze from above.
However, he did not cut off that gaze. He knew it was the Guardian of Earth and that there was no malice intended; otherwise, he would have shielded himself from the Guardian's observation long ago.
Jiang Yun and his team, now traveling through the stars, were unaware that the Guardian of Earth was watching them depart.
"Our destination is Qiu Long Planet. It is a mercenary planet and one of our primary stops. Martial prowess is rampant there, and it hosts a vast number of mercenary groups."
Over the past year, Jiang Yun had done much more than just cultivate; on the contrary, he had prepared quite thoroughly.
Through the relationship between Bulma's family and Jaco, he had successfully made contact with Jaco.
He managed to purchase a star map of the nearby sectors from Jaco, gaining information on many planets—including Planet Yardrat and Planet Metamor, both of which were quite famous in the universe.
They were high-level planets, exceptionally united, and possessed a very intense martial arts atmosphere.
Because of this, ordinary people dared not harbor designs against them.
"We have three days left, so everyone should get some rest."
Jiang Yun checked the arrival time and instructed the others to rest.
"Understood!"
The group returned to their rooms to recharge for the actions ahead.
Three days passed in the blink of an eye...
Jiang Yun's ship arrived at Qiu Long Planet. As a mercenary planet, it had constructed a massive docking facility.
Docking required payment—not paper currency, but gold coins. Jiang Yun was not lacking in gold.
He had brought plenty of gold coins this time, though in the universe, one didn't rely solely on gold; even precious cosmic metals could serve as currency, though few people did so.
When the group disembarked, they were momentarily stunned by the sight of the aliens coming and going. Some had only one eye, others had two heads, and some even had triangular heads—they were the Triangle Star People.
Jiang Yun and his companions had prepared themselves, yet upon seeing these extraterrestrials, they still marveled at the wonders of the Creator.
If Jiang Yun and his group were merely surprised, then the inhabitants of this planet were terrified.
"What? Saiyans have actually come to this planet? With so many of them, they couldn't be here to invade Qiu Long Planet, could they? Damn it, I didn't know there were still so many Saiyans left!"
"Damn Saiyans! Weren't they all wiped out by Frieza?"
"Run! The Saiyans are invading! Notify the guard squad immediately!"
"Hey! Everyone, calm down! Look closely—these aren't Saiyans! They don't have the tails that are exclusive to Saiyans!"
The chaotic crowd, upon hearing this, looked at Jiang Yun's party and calmed down once they confirmed the absence of the characteristic Saiyan tails.
"Hi! Greetings, I am Xiuka, the vice-captain of the Lone Wolf Mercenary Group. May I ask where you all hail from?"
At this moment, a being resembling a human stepped forward, though his skin resembled rock. He was burly, stood over two meters tall, and bore a scar across his eye—clearly a souvenir from some past battle.
He greeted Jiang Yun and the others with a cheerful smile. He looked honest and simple, but few who survived such brutal, vicious combat were truly harmless.
"Hello. We come from the Nine Provinces. Sigh! I don't know why the old fogies in my family insisted on sending me to this planet for training!"
"Isn't it better to just lounge around at home? By the way, where are you from, brother?"
Jiang Yun's expression was unrestrained and casual, perfectly portraying someone who was there against his will.
So, he's just a rich second-generation heir from a big family sent out for some experience!
Xiuka felt a secret disdain. He had encountered such young masters before; they were nothing but useless trash who had never been beaten down by the harsh realities of the universe.
"Oh! Oh! Little brother, I am the vice-captain of the Lone Wolf Mercenary Group! I'm quite famous around these parts. If you pay a small commission, you can hire us to help you out! I know this sector better than anyone."
A glint of greed flashed in Xiuka's eyes. He had already mentally labeled Jiang Yun as a fool with too much money. In his view, someone like this could be easily swindled into handing over his wealth without a fight.
