Across from him stood an existence no one could have imagined.

He was a tall, thin middle-aged man, wrapped year-round in a loose dark-red cloak. The hood was pulled very low, hiding his face completely in shadow. His frame was gaunt, like a dead branch swaying in the wind, yet his entire body gave off a cold, bloody aura that made anyone who came near feel a chill down their spine.

This man was Ghost Emperor's deputy, one of the Holy Spirit Cult's top combatants, skilled in assassination and in casting Soul-Devouring Curses. He moved without a sound. On par with the Four Heavenly Kings of the Holy Spirit Cult, he was known as one of the Four Dark Heavenly Kings, and was among the most terrifying figures in the Holy Spirit Cult.

At that moment, he was standing before Qiangu Dongfeng's desk, his dark-red cloak fluttering gently in the breeze pouring in through the window. His voice was hoarse and low, with a texture as if it had been squeezed out from deep in his throat.

"Pagoda Master Qiangu, I have already investigated the defensive array of the Ming Capital Research Institute. Those two God-Slaying Fixed Soul Guidance Shells, Heaven-Swallowing Earth-Eating and Heaven-Destroying Earth-Annihilating, are stored in the core vault on the lowest level of the research institute. As long as we get them, before long, Shrek Academy and the Tang Sect will both be reduced to ruins."

Qiangu Dongfeng's fingers tapped lightly on the desktop, making a rhythmic da-da sound. His gaze fell on Dark Blood Demon, as though weighing something.

"Is your intelligence accurate? Those two shells have been tightly sealed away ever since they were manufactured. The research institute's defensive array is a top Federation secret. It cannot be easily uncovered."
