Zhong Shenxiu transmigrated to the Douluo Continent and was found as an orphan on the outskirts of Dongshan City, carrying only a primitive jade pendant engraved with the character “Zhong.” Fragmentary memories of a technologically advanced world called Earth remained with him, while his life in the Dongshan Third Children's Welfare Institute was marked by recurring dreams of fighting as a dragon in the Dragon Fighting World 1.

At six, he awakened a Light Dragon Martial Soul and possessed innate soul power of level eight. The Plane's consciousness made Zhong Shenxiu the new master of the Dragon Origin Realm and inheritor of the Fighting Dragon Clan. His former Light Dragon Martial Soul was remolded with the embryonic bloodline of the theoretical ultimate God King Dragon, the Myriad Creation Dragon God 3. He accepted the responsibility to revive the Fighting Dragon Clan, restore the Dragon Origin Realm, and awaken its dormant dragons despite the expected opposition of humans, soul beasts, and other dragon races 4.

Wu Zhangkong became concerned about the emotional effects of Zhong Shenxiu's violent combat instincts and apparent familiarity with death. He arranged for Doctor Liu, a psychologist from East Sea Central Hospital, to speak privately with him in the academy infirmary 45 51.

To conceal his actual origins, Zhong Shenxiu claimed that he had recently found a powerful clan and arranged for the Badi Holy Dragon to appear as his bodyguard. This successfully convinced Wu Zhangkong and his classmates that an extraordinary force stood behind him 135 138 139.

His training included the Hall of Heroes assessment, where he defeated successive projections of Tang Wutong before facing her five-ring Soul King form 127 128 133. He also continued intense sparring with Wu Zhangkong; one weapon duel ended when the Sky Frost Sword was chipped, without a declared victor 156. His teammates' coordination improved enough that their combined assault eventually forced him to use the Prison-Suppressing Wisdom King Seal, an achievement they celebrated despite not defeating him 189.

Revival of the Dragon Fighting Plane

Zhong Shenxiu initially funded the Dragon Fighting Plane's restoration by manufacturing Soul Tools and buying Soul Guidance Batteries. Zhong Shenxiu's growing forces also developed plans for interaction and fusion between the Dragon Fighting Plane and the Douluo Plane. Zhong Lingyue and Aquarius Star Dragon prepared diagrams and a proposal to accelerate the fusion, which Zhong Shenxiu reviewed and praised 361 369.

Following the conflicts with the Spirit Pagoda and Qiangu Family, the Dragon Fighting Plane reached full restoration. Its central altar was repaired, the Four Great God King Dragon statues revived, and all Twelve Star Dragons awakened. Surviving Fighting Dragon Clan members subsequently settled peacefully in the reborn Plane 447 460.

Shrek Academy and Spirit Pagoda Disputes

Zhong Shenxiu accompanied Wu Zhangkong and his former Zero Class companions to Shrek Academy. He later negotiated directly with Spirit Pagoda Master Qiangu Dongfeng, who proposed cooperation between the Spirit Pagoda and Doulong Technology against Shrek Academy. Zhong Shenxiu demanded the Spirit Pagoda's spatial technology as proof of sincerity, leaving the proposed agreement unresolved 387.

The subsequent confrontation with Ye Chen demonstrated how outdated the Spirit Pagoda's intelligence had become: although Ye Chen believed him to be a five-ring Soul King, Zhong Shenxiu had already reached level 65 and could confront an ordinary Title Douluo directly 403 404. During the battle, he used Vast Sea Power and Burning Heaven Holy Flame to overcome Ye Chen's shadows, then detected concealed figures outside the residence and attacked their fleeing Shadow Clones with Holy Light Judgment 413.

Myriad Creation Dragon God Awakening

Zhong Shenxiu's conflict with Qiangu Dongfeng forced him to confront the true nature of his inheritance. Pressured by the Limit Doululo's attacks, he awakened the Myriad Creation Dragon God Martial Soul, activated his Dragon God bloodline and planar authority, and defeated Qiangu Dongfeng with a single punch 435.

Before this awakening, he encountered the Black Death Dragon in his awareness and discovered that the being he had regarded as a mortal enemy was calm and benevolent toward him. The Black Death Dragon explained that Zhong Shenxiu had been chosen by both himself and the Four Great God King Dragons, challenging Zhong Shenxiu's understanding of their ancient conflict 429 430.

The awakening revealed that the powers of Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Light, and Dark all existed within him as the Seven Phenomena Origin. His Soul Power surged to level 71, and he began to use the Scepter of the Black Death Dragon, Myriad Creation Dragon God Domain, and ancient Dragon Fighting Plane martial techniques against Qiangu Dieting and Qiangu Dongfeng 430 433 439.

After returning to the restored Plane, Zhong Shenxiu attained a complete origin connection with it. Alliance with the Soul Beast Clan

Gu Yue eventually revealed herself as the Silver Dragon King and entrusted the future of the Soul Beast Clan to Zhong Shenxiu. In return, he disclosed that he was the Destined One chosen by the Dragon Fighting Plane and pledged to protect Gu Yue, Xu Xiaoyan, Leng Yulai, and Illusion while pursuing peaceful coexistence rather than humanity's destruction 364 366.

Di Tian initially investigated Zhong Shenxiu with suspicion after sensing the ancient Light Power protecting him. Eastsea Consolidation and Federation Conflict

Zhong Shenxiu's allies seized control of Eastsea City's underworld while replacing the Holy Spirit Cult's regional influence. Their network encompassed harbor black markets, Soul Tool component smuggling routes, underground soul-fighting arenas, and agents within the city defense force 262. He generally delegated intelligence work, infiltration, and detailed schemes to subordinates such as Psychedelic Black Hand and Aquarius Star Dragon while concentrating on cultivation and battle 264.

After obtaining the complete Myriad Creation Dragon God inheritance, Zhong Shenxiu develops Doulong Technology and the underground forces under his command into a major Eastsea power. He avoids immediately provoking total war, recognizing both the threat of hidden forces within the Douluo Plane and the Federation's God-Slaying Fixed Soul Guidance Shell 453.

His efforts to investigate those hidden powers bring him into conflict with Tang San's remaining divine consciousness acting through Tang Wulin's body. Tang San uses the Golden Dragon King seals and his residual God King consciousness to raise the body's combat power to the peak of the Title Douluo level 470. Zhong Shenxiu counters Tang San's sea techniques with Burning Heaven Holy Flame, Vast Sea Power, and his dragon body's endurance. When Tang San breaks the thirteenth Golden Dragon King seal and unleashes Sea God's Star, Zhong Shenxiu deploys Myriad Calamity Burning Heaven Prison to suppress the attack and slow the circulation of Divine Power 471.

As his influence expands, he approaches Eastsea accompanied by the Limit Douluo-level Quake Black Hand and Jinglei. Their arrival brings him into direct conflict with Chen Xinjie, the Divine Brush Douluo and commander of the Federation Central Army Corps. Chen initially takes the advantage through his familiarity with the sea and his Sea God-derived powers, but Zhong confronts him directly rather than retreating 515.

During the confrontation, Zhong Shenxiu blocks a Divine Realm-powered water palm with Holy Dragon Sky-Severing Slash and then fuses with the Wisdom King manifestation to reinforce his strength and defense 509. When Lan Jinghe warns that they are outnumbered, Zhong Shenxiu opens a spatial rift with the Light-Imperial Ninja Blade and retreats with Lan Jinghe and Vance 604.

Duke Leiwen fails to stop their escape, and the group returns to the Dragon Fighting Plane with the Thunder Roaring Cangming Tower still in their possession. Furious at the Thunder Whale Plane's defiance, Zhong Shenxiu leads his companions to the Plane Core altar, where a burly figure is waiting 604.

• Qiangu Dongfeng: The Spirit Pagoda Master first proposes cooperation against Shrek Academy, offering institutional support in exchange for a share of its resources. Zhong Shenxiu demands spatial technology as evidence of sincerity 387. Their later hostility culminates in Qiangu Dongfeng's attack triggering Zhong Shenxiu's full Myriad Creation Dragon God awakening and defeat at his hands 435.

• Lan Jinghe and Vance: The two accompany Zhong Shenxiu during the Thunder Whale Plane expedition's retreat.
