The little girl's feet dangled above the ground, and she struggled to breathe. Yet she desperately pried at Android 17's fingers, her nails digging deep into his skin. Her eyes were filled with unyielding resolve as she forced out a few words: "I... won't... let you... get away with this..." But Android 17 was far too strong. As his grip tightened, her struggles grew weaker and weaker.

At last, there was a sharp crack, and the little girl's body went limp, all life gone from it.

Android 17 contemptuously flung her body aside and dusted off his hands, as if he had just dealt with some minor nuisance. Then he strode toward the gathering crowds, ready to continue his killing spree. Behind him, the little girl's small, cold body lay amid the wreckage. A deathly silence hung over the area, broken only by the soft breeze, as if mourning the innocent life that had been lost.

Who knew how much time had passed~

There was no one left on the surface.

Android 17 strode through the streets of Spring Pavilion City, once prosperous but now desolate and ruined. The city, formerly bustling with life, had become terrifyingly quiet. Only his footsteps echoed through the empty streets and alleys.

His icy gaze swept over the crumbling buildings and rubble-strewn streets like a sharp blade, but he couldn't see a single human in sight. He frowned and roared in anger, "Where is everyone? Where did they go?"

He stood in the city center plaza, closed his eyes, and focused, trying to sense even the faintest trace of life nearby.

A moment later, a cruel smile curled across his lips. "Oh, so they're underground." His voice seemed to scrape out from between his teeth, laced with a chill and barely contained excitement.

He crouched slightly. Cracks spread across the ground beneath his feet as his immense power surged. With a roar, he shot downward like a cannonball, tearing through the earth. Soil and rocks flew in every direction as he plunged toward the underground shelter, determined to drag out the people hiding there.

Android 17 hovered above Spring Pavilion City, looking down over the lifeless land below. The rage burning inside him grew stronger by the moment. "Hmph. Those cunning humans think they can escape me just by hiding?" he scoffed, his eyes brimming with contempt and cruelty.

Suddenly, his gaze sharpened and fixed on a particular area on the ground—the approximate location of the underground shelter where the humans were hiding.

He slowly raised both hands. A black sphere of energy gathered in his palms, quickly swelling as it crackled. The air around it seemed to warp under the force of its power.

With a roar, Android 17 hurled the energy sphere at the ground. The moment it struck, it erupted in a dazzling flash and a deafening boom. The earth shook violently, as if hit by a gigantic bomb.

Soil and rocks flew everywhere, and smoke billowed through the air. A huge, bottomless hole was blasted open, leading straight down to the underground shelter.

Inside the shelter, people panicked at the sudden disaster.

The lights flickered under the violent tremors. Cracks spread across the walls, and dust rained down. People screamed and shouted as they ran in every direction, searching for cover, unaware that an even greater terror was about to descend upon them.

Through the swirling smoke, Android 17 saw the chaos underground, and a vicious grin spread across his face.

In a flash, he turned into a streak of shadow and plunged toward the hole, ready to drag the terrified humans into the depths of despair. A bloody massacre was about to begin.

He flashed forward like a bolt of black lightning and flew straight inside. The moment he entered the shelter, a storm of bullets and bursts of energy fire greeted him.

His eyes narrowed. He swiftly crossed his arms in front of him, and a black energy shield appeared in an instant.

Bullets struck the shield, showering sparks and crackling against it, while the energy beams were all blocked and vanished into nothing.

"Hmph. You think these toys can hurt me?" Android 17 roared. He swept his arms outward, and the shield instantly transformed into waves of black energy that surged in every direction.

Wherever the waves passed, walls collapsed and equipment was destroyed. The soldiers holding weapons were hurled through the air by the tremendous force and slammed onto the ground, coughing up blood. No one knew whether they were alive or dead.

Still, the humans did not give up their resistance. More weapons appeared from every corner and opened fire on Android 17 again.

Android 17 moved at incredible speed, weaving effortlessly through the hail of bullets. Every so often, he threw a punch, and each strike unleashed enough force to flatten everything around him. The ground beneath his feet was already covered in blood and rubble.

Android 17 casually raised a hand and formed an energy blast. Everyone in the army felt a sense of dread when they saw it and hurried to take cover or flee. The commander shouted orders, but before they could even spread out, the shelter's army was wiped out. Then Android 17 began slaughtering the people in the shelter.

Android 17 darted through the shelter's corridors like a ghost. Every time he appeared, a chorus of shrill screams followed.

His hands were stained with blood. Wherever he went, there were severed limbs and people crying out in despair.

A young man tried to grab a weapon nearby and fight back, but before he could even get his footing, Android 17 appeared in front of him and seized him by the throat. He hurled the man against the wall. The impact landed with a dull thud, and the man slid slowly to the floor, lifeless.

The children huddled in a corner, trembling, their eyes filled with fear and helplessness.

Android 17 showed no mercy. He swept out a hand, and a wave of black energy shot toward the children, swallowing their small bodies in an instant.

The women wept in terror, their cries echoing through the cramped space and deepening the sense of despair.

Android 17 roamed among them without restraint, mercilessly reaping lives as if this were a bloody game that thrilled him.

Blood pooled across the floor, and the shelter filled with a nauseating stench.

The people's resistance grew weaker and weaker, but Android 17 showed no sign of stopping. Madness gleamed in his eyes as he reveled in the one-sided massacre, as if he meant to stamp out humanity's last hope once and for all in the darkness of the underground shelter.
