Son Goku did not respond, merely drawing a deep breath in an attempt to steady himself.

He knew that succumbing to rage now would only cloud his judgment; he had to remain clear-headed and identify the Mysterious Person's weakness if he were to have any chance of saving his companions.

At that moment, the group held captive by the Mysterious Person felt the pressure on their necks intensify, making it difficult to breathe and causing them immense agony. Yet, they endured the suffering, shouting with all their might, "Goku, don't worry about us! Run!" Gohan, in particular, screamed until his voice grew hoarse: "Dad, get out of here!" The others chimed in, urging Goku to flee.

However, how could Goku ever abandon his friends? A look of firm resolve flashed in his eyes as he kicked off the ground, surging toward the Mysterious Person like a bolt of golden lightning.

While in flight, Goku rapidly gathered his energy, clenching his fists until the muscles in his arms bulged. With an unstoppable momentum, he threw a fierce punch, the whistling wind of the strike bearing down directly on the Mysterious Person's face.

Seeing this, the Mysterious Person's lips curled into a faint, disdainful sneer. He tilted his body slightly, effortlessly dodging Goku's seemingly lethal blow.

Immediately, the Mysterious Person whipped his arm, hurling the black energy wave that held the others toward Goku, attempting to use his companions as a shield to hinder his movements.

Goku's eyes sharpened. He slammed on the brakes, flipping his body in mid-air to evade the black energy wave. Once he stabilized himself, he charged at the Mysterious Person again, shouting, "I will never give up on you all! I'm going to defeat this guy today!"

The Mysterious Person let out a cold snort and tightened his control over the group. The captives' faces twisted in pain, and faint groans escaped their lips.

Yet, Goku did not retreat in the slightest. Upon closing the distance, he unleashed a flurry of attacks, using both fists and feet, each strike imbued with immense power and determination.

The fire of rage burned fiercely in Goku's heart, his offensive growing increasingly violent as his strikes rained down like a torrential storm. At times he would leap high to deliver a sharp flying kick; at others, he would close in rapidly to land heavy, powerful straight punches. Every attack carried such potent energy fluctuations that it seemed as if the very air around them were being torn asunder.

However, the Mysterious Person remained unhurried, that cold, cruel smile never leaving his face. Whenever Goku's attacks were about to land, he would skillfully shift Gohan, Piccolo, and the others into his path, using them as human shields. Left with no choice, Goku was forced to pull his strikes to avoid harming his friends.

This situation left Goku burning with anxiety. Beads of sweat the size of grains of rice rolled down his forehead, his eyes filled with distress and frustration. But he knew he had to keep his cool and find an opening to break through the Mysterious Person's defense. Thus, Goku feigned another all-out assault; the moment he neared the Mysterious Person, he suddenly changed direction, side-stepping to the flank in an attempt to bypass his companions and strike.

Just as Goku reached the side and prepared to act, the Mysterious Person spoke coldly: "Son Goku, you are still too weak, far too weak!" The ruthless mockery felt like blades piercing Goku's heart.

By now, after a series of intense battles, Goku's stamina was severely depleted. He gasped for air, his internal energy steadily dropping. His body trembled slightly, his clothes soaked through with sweat, and every breath was heavy with exhaustion. Yet, his gaze remained fixed on the Mysterious Person, his mind silently calculating a countermeasure.

Seeing Goku's silence, the mockery on the Mysterious Person's face deepened. He moved his hands, preparing to strike again. The black energy surrounding him grew more intense, as if swallowing all the surrounding light, and the overwhelming pressure left Goku struggling to breathe.

Watching Goku's waning energy, the Mysterious Person let out a shrill, manic laugh: "Son Goku, you are still too weak. Let me help you along!" With that, a cruel glint flashed in his eyes, and he fired the black energy wave at the restrained Tien Shinhan. Tien Shinhan's body was instantly engulfed in black energy; his face contorted in agony, his eyes wide as if he wanted to say something, but he was swallowed by endless pain before his head slumped forward, lifeless.

Goku watched this scene unfold, his heart seized with horror as he roared, "No!" Yet, the Mysterious Person's atrocities did not cease; the black energy wave turned toward Master Goten. Master Goten struggled with all his might, but he could not break free from the shackles of that evil power. In an instant, he too was consumed by the black energy and fell silent.

Piccolo was the next to be attacked. Veins bulged on his dark green skin as he attempted to resist, but against the Mysterious Person's overwhelming power, it was all in vain. As the black energy eroded him, Piccolo's body slowly collapsed, the once-resolute light in his eyes fading away.

Gohan was the last to be targeted. Goku screamed Gohan's name, desperate to rush over and stop it, but he was repelled by the Mysterious Person's energy barrier. Gohan looked at Goku, his eyes filled with reluctance and worry, but under the ravages of the black energy, he too eventually went still.

Now, only Krillin remained under the Mysterious Person's control. Goku's eyes instantly turned bloodshot, his inner rage exploding to its absolute limit.

His body shook violently from fury, his teeth grinding together. He clenched his fists so tightly that his nails dug deep into his palms, blood dripping from his fingers. Only one thought occupied his mind: to make this demon pay in blood, to tear him limb from limb.

The Mysterious Person keenly sensed the energy within Goku climbing bit by bit and couldn't help but mutter to himself, "As expected of the protagonist of Dragon Ball; the death of his companions can actually increase his power. As long as there is a shred of energy left in him, it can grow infinitely? I've finally witnessed it." He paused, looked at Goku, and sneered, "However, this growth is still a bit slow. 'Well then,' let me help you once more."

With that, the Mysterious Person increased the pressure, choking Krillin. Krillin's face turned purple as he struggled desperately, but he could not shake the evil power in the slightest. Finally, with a light squeeze, a "crack" echoed out. Krillin's neck slumped to the side, and the light of his life was extinguished.

Witnessing this cruel scene, the rage in Goku's heart erupted like a volcanic eruption. The energy that had been slowly rising suddenly surged like a burst dam, skyrocketing tenfold and continuing to climb. Powerful energy fluctuations radiated from him, whipping up a gale that sent debris and rubble swirling high into the air.

Seeing this, the mockery on the Mysterious Person's face froze, replaced by a look of shock and bewilderment: "My god, Krillin really is the key. Is this the legendary 'Krillin sacrifices himself, Goku gains infinite power'?" He instinctively took a step back, watching Goku warily as he secretly gathered energy in his hands.
