Light flickered before Goku Black, and he appeared on Earth once more. He looked around and saw that the planet was unharmed. "Did I travel through time again?" he wondered. He glanced at the Time Ring in his hand. It had just flashed and protected him, saving his life. "That was close. I almost died. Thank goodness I had this ring."
Looking at the scene before him, Goku Black mused, The Androids shouldn't have appeared yet, right? He then entered a nearby city and, after asking around, confirmed that he was in Age 764. The discovery startled him. "I wonder if I'm in the Future Trunks Saga or the main timeline. If this is the main timeline, the Androids will appear in three years. If it's the future timeline, I have seven years. I'd better start preparing."
Goku Black knew time was short. No matter which timeline he was in, the threat of the Androids hung over him like a sword poised above his head. He began searching for powerful energy sources, hoping to find a way to increase his strength and face the crisis that was coming.
At the same time, he kept an eye on the movements of the various forces, considering how to secure the greatest possible advantage for himself in this complicated situation. A new plot was quietly taking shape in his mind.
Goku Black looked at the bustling city around him and curled his lips into a cold smile. Putting on a show of regret, he said, "Those Androids are so hateful! Just look at how beautiful this city is. It'd be a shame if they destroyed it." The sarcasm in his voice was unmistakable.
He remembered that in the original story, the Androids had apparently appeared from the mountains, with a secret base hidden inside one of them. So he began searching the surrounding mountains, attacking without hesitation whenever he spotted one.
"Boom! Boom!" His energy blasts struck the mountains one after another. The mountains shook violently, boulders tumbled down, and the slopes began to collapse. Workers building a school nearby saw what was happening and panicked, shouting, "Run! The mountain's collapsing!" Everyone scattered, but some people couldn't escape in time and were buried beneath the falling boulders.
At that moment, Goku and Vegeta, who were training far away, suddenly sensed a powerful, evil energy. Goku's expression turned grave. "What is that energy? It's so powerful!" Vegeta frowned and said solemnly, "Hmph. Whoever it is, we can't let them run wild on this planet!" They exchanged a glance and flew toward the source of the energy without hesitation.
Just then, Goku Black keenly sensed that the Goku and Vegeta of this time period were racing toward him.
He thought to himself that he had just come through a fierce battle and still hadn't fully recovered. If he clashed with them now, he wouldn't stand much of a chance.
So Goku Black blurred out of sight, using his evasion technique to vanish in an instant. He sped toward the many mountain ranges ahead, planning to hide among them.
That way, he could continue searching for the Androids' possible whereabouts and take the opportunity to rest, replenishing his depleted strength and energy. He would wait until the time was right before making his next move. After all, in this unfamiliar and complicated timeline, it was best to proceed with caution.
When Goku and Vegeta arrived, all they saw were the mountains Goku Black had ravaged and the panicked crowds. Vegeta roared furiously, "Who did this? That energy feels unfamiliar, but also a little familiar." Goku furrowed his brow and sensed the area with all his might, but found nothing. "Whoever it is, they're powerful and seem to have some kind of plan. We have to be careful."
Meanwhile, Goku Black found a secluded cave in the mountains. He sat cross-legged and began circulating his energy to heal himself. As he recovered, he kept picturing Goku and Vegeta. Hmph, those two seem to have gotten even stronger. No matter. Once I find where the Androids are hiding and absorb their energy, the power of the Time Ring will help me defeat them once and for all.
After calming the people, Goku and Vegeta decided to split up and look for clues.
Goku headed to Korin Tower to ask Korin whether there had been any unusual energy fluctuations recently. Vegeta contacted Bulma and asked her to use her technological equipment to track down the source of the mysterious energy.
Several days later, Goku Black had recovered most of his strength. He left the cave and resumed exploring the mountains. At last, in a secluded valley, he sensed an unusual energy signature. "Could this be where the Androids are hiding?"
Doubt swirled in Goku Black's mind, but his intense curiosity and thirst for power drove him on. Without hesitation, he quickly dashed toward the source of the energy.
Along the way, he carefully concealed his own energy, afraid that Goku and Vegeta might sense him again.
As he drew closer to his target, the energy grew stronger, and his heart began to race. All sorts of possibilities flashed through his mind. Perhaps he was about to find a crucial clue to the Androids. Perhaps some other unknown, powerful force was hidden there. Whatever it was, he was determined to investigate. This might be the key to growing stronger in this timeline and realizing his ambitions.
When he finally reached the source of the energy, he found the entrance to a pitch-black cave. Powerful energy was steadily leaking out from within. Goku Black stood at the entrance, excitement and greed in his eyes.
Looking at the mysterious entrance, Goku Black wondered, "What is this cave? This never happened in the original story. Could it be another butterfly effect caused by my time travel?" With that question in mind, he slowly stepped inside.
The cave stretched deep into the darkness, as if it had no end. The moment Goku Black entered, everything went pitch-black; he couldn't see his hand in front of his face. He planned to use the red energy in his hand to light the way, but as soon as he stepped inside, he realized that some strange force was suppressing his energy. It went out in an instant, and darkness swallowed the way behind him too. His way back had vanished.
"Damn it! What kind of place is this?" Goku Black muttered. But his stubborn pride kicked in, and he gritted his teeth, deciding to press on.
Frowning, Goku Black forced himself onward. The seemingly endless path made him increasingly irritable. It felt as though he would never reach the end. The ground remained uneven, and he nearly tripped several times. His frustration kept building.
