On a mysterious planet somewhere in Universe 7~
A group of oddly dressed cultivators had also sensed the mysterious fluctuation. They emerged from their respective training grounds and gathered in the planet's square, discussing it with grave expressions.
"This power is no ordinary force. I fear it will bring a tremendous change to the universe," an elderly, white-haired man said with a frown.
"Could the legendary prophecy be coming true?" a young cultivator asked, his face full of worry.
Everyone's expression changed at his words. They all knew of an ancient prophecy that had been passed down on this planet: when a mysterious and powerful energy fluctuation appeared in the universe, a crisis capable of overturning the entire universe would descend.
Meanwhile, at the Space Pirate Group's base, a band of ruthless pirates had also sensed the fluctuation. Their leader was a burly man with a vicious scar across his face, named Rex.
"Haha! Looks like something big is about to happen! If we can control this power, the entire universe will tremble beneath our feet!" Rex laughed wildly, greed gleaming in his eyes.
He immediately summoned his men, preparing to set out for the source of the mysterious fluctuation.
In his view, this was a perfect opportunity. As long as they obtained that powerful force, they could become the mightiest beings in the universe.
Far away, in the Supreme Kai Realm, the Supreme Kais had also sensed this extraordinary power. They gathered together to discuss how to deal with it.
"There seems to be an aura of darkness and evil mixed into this power. We must proceed with caution," East Supreme Kai said gravely.
"Indeed. If this power falls into the hands of someone with ill intentions, the universe will be plunged into irreparable ruin," South Supreme Kai agreed with a nod.
The Supreme Kais unanimously decided to send an emissary to investigate the source of the mysterious fluctuation and closely monitor how things developed.
By then, after being swallowed by the black hole, Goku Black had arrived in a mysterious space. It was filled with strange lights and distorted energy, and a suffocating aura hung all around. Goku Black struggled to his feet. Though his body had suffered severe injuries, he found that he still had a sliver of strength left.
"What is this place?" Goku Black watched his surroundings warily, filled with confusion.
Just then, a deep, raspy voice sounded in his ear. "Welcome to my world, Goku Black..." Goku Black spun around, but there was no one behind him. The voice seemed to come from every direction, sending a chill down his spine.
"Who are you?" Goku Black shouted, trying to hide the fear within him.
"Who I am doesn't matter. What matters is that you can obtain the power you've dreamed of here..." the voice continued, laced with temptation.
Goku Black's heart stirred. He remembered the power he had failed to obtain in the ruins, and greed once again flared in his eyes. "Really? You can give me power?" he asked eagerly.
"Of course. All you have to do is pay the price..." the voice said slowly, its tone carrying a strange hint of amusement.
At those words, Goku Black's heart jolted. He warily demanded, "What price?"
The mysterious voice echoed through the darkness, its laugh cold. "I need control of your body. I want to take complete control."
In an instant, countless frenzied images flashed through Goku Black's mind. The things he had done in the past to gain power at any cost now seemed utterly absurd. He immediately came to his senses. The greed in his eyes gave way to anger and resolve. "Not a chance! I'll never hand my body over to some unknown thing like you!"
The remnants of dark energy around Goku Black surged, as he tried to gather strength for a counterattack. Though he was trapped in this bizarre, unpredictable space and his body was covered in wounds, the pride and stubbornness in his bones would never let him bow so easily.
The mysterious voice seemed to have expected Goku Black's refusal. It let out a derisive laugh. "You think you still have a choice? In this space, I rule your fate."
As the voice fell silent, the surrounding space began to twist violently. Countless black vines reached out of the void, lunging at Goku Black like hungry serpents. He flashed aside, dodging the vines with his keen battle instincts. He knew that in this unknown realm, he had to keep his cool. One careless mistake, and he would be doomed.
"Hmph. You think these things can trap me?" Goku Black dodged while searching for a flaw in the space. He noticed that the vines' attack rhythm seemed somehow connected to the rise and fall of the mysterious voice.
Goku Black seized an opening. As the vines struck again, he suddenly gathered all his strength and fired a blast of dark energy toward the direction of the voice. Boom! The blast exploded through the space, scattering swaths of black vines. The warped space around him briefly returned to normal.
"You have some skill, but it's still far from enough." The mysterious voice sounded again, now with a hint of surprise.
Then countless black vortexes appeared in the space. A massive black hand reached out of each one, grabbing for Goku Black. Their tremendous strength shattered the space wherever they passed, filling the air with a series of shrill crashes.
Goku Black leaped and dodged repeatedly, but the black hands still grazed him, leaving one bloody gash after another. He didn't retreat. Instead, as he fought, he gradually figured out some of the space's patterns. The attacks were powerful, but there was an extremely brief gap between each one.
Goku Black focused. As another wave of attacks came, he took a deep breath and summoned every bit of energy he could, preparing to launch a lethal counterattack. He gathered dark energy between his hands, forming a spinning black sphere filled with all his fury and desperate will to survive.
"If you refuse to hand over your body willingly, then you'll stay here forever!" the mysterious voice roared. All the black hands and vortexes surged toward Goku Black, trying to crush him completely.
At that critical moment, Goku Black spotted the gap in the attacks and hurled the energy sphere with all his strength. "Break!" he roared. The sphere shot toward the black attacks with unstoppable force. Everywhere it went, the black hands and vortexes shattered. A powerful shockwave sent Goku Black flying backward, but he had successfully torn open a gap in space.
