Lina crossed her arms over her chest and nodded slightly. "Whatever it is, we cannot back down. The peace of the universe depends on us."

Loki chimed in with a playful tone, "Perhaps it's a massive treasure. Once we've dealt with the trouble, we might even get a cut of the spoils."

Just as they were joking, several unidentified flying objects suddenly appeared on the ship's radar. "Bad news, we have a situation!" Eric became alert instantly, his hands moving rapidly across the console as he attempted to analyze the origins of these unidentified objects.

Not far away, the Space Pirate Group's ship was tailing them cautiously, hiding within an asteroid belt and closely monitoring every move the Interstellar Alliance ship made.

Eric quickly adjusted the ship's parameters, activated the stealth shield, and initiated a high-precision scan to identify the unidentified objects.

"These signals are erratic; they don't look like Interstellar Alliance equipment. Could it be..." Before he could finish, Lina interjected, "It's the Space Pirate Group. They must have set their sights on this mysterious power as well."

Loki furrowed his brows and clenched his fists. "Those guys—always looking to loot a burning house. We can't let them get away with it." After consulting with the other elite members, they decided to feign ignorance and continue toward the source of the mysterious power while secretly keeping an eye on the pirates' movements.

Inside the pirate flagship, the leader watched the Interstellar Alliance ship's trajectory on the screen, a cold smirk curling his lips. "They haven't discovered us yet. Keep following. Once they start fighting with whoever is behind this mysterious power, we'll make our move." The strategist added, "Boss, we should also prepare for battle. Once the Interstellar Alliance realizes what's happening, they won't let this go easily." The leader nodded and ordered the entire crew to enter combat readiness.

As the Interstellar Alliance ship gradually approached the core area of the mysterious power, the surrounding energy turbulence grew increasingly violent, causing the ship to shake intensely.

Eric pushed himself to the limit, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. "This energy is too volatile; our ship won't hold up much longer." Lina focused her mind, channeling her elemental powers to stabilize the ship while releasing an elemental detection wave to locate the source of the mysterious power.

Suddenly, a massive black sphere appeared ahead, emitting an eerie glow—it was the core of the mysterious power.

Before they could even get close, a swarm of Mechanical Guards surged from around the sphere and launched an attack on the ship. Eric quickly maneuvered to evade, while Loki instantly quantum-shifted behind the Mechanical Guards to launch a disruptive attack. Lina summoned a flame shield to deflect the enemy's barrage.

Seeing this, the Space Pirate Group, which had been lurking in the rear, decided the time was right and swarmed out in full force. The pirate ships opened fire with all weapon systems, raining chaotic fire upon both the Interstellar Alliance ship and the Mechanical Guards.

"Charge! Seize that mysterious power!" the pirate leader roared frantically from the command deck.

The Interstellar Alliance's elite team found themselves caught in a pincer attack, their situation becoming precarious. While dodging fire, Eric shouted, "We can't handle both sides at once! We need a plan!" Lina thought for a moment and said, "Let's join forces to repel the pirates first, then deal with these Mechanical Guards." Everyone nodded; Loki returned to the ship instantly, and together with Lina and Eric, they launched a counterattack against the pirates.

On the battlefield, energy beams crisscrossed, and explosions erupted one after another.

The pirates pressed forward, relying on their numerical advantage, while the Interstellar Alliance's elite team put up a stubborn resistance with their powerful abilities. Meanwhile, the Mechanical Guards surrounding the core continued their assault, trapping all three parties in a chaotic melee.

Amidst the intense crossfire, Eric seized an opportunity and exerted full control over gravity, violently pulling a pirate ship into a head-on collision with a Mechanical Guard. Both vessels were instantly swallowed by the flames of the explosion.

The pirate fleet was thrown into disarray by this sudden attack, and their firepower momentarily waned.

Lina seized the chance to condense her elemental power into a massive ice dragon, which roared as it charged toward the pirate fleet. Wherever the ice dragon passed, the pirate ships' weapon systems were frozen and disabled, leaving the pirates to scramble in panic throughout their cabins.

"Damn it! I didn't expect them to be this tough!" The pirate leader was livid, veins bulging on his forehead. He glared viciously at the screen and suddenly ordered, "Activate all hidden weapons! Hit them with everything you've got!" The hulls of the pirate ships slowly opened, revealing rows of massive, never-before-seen energy cannons.

"Watch out!" Eric shouted, simultaneously jerking the ship into a sharp turn.

The beams from the giant energy cannons grazed the edge of the ship, the immense shockwave causing it to shudder violently and nearly lose control.

At this moment, the Mechanical Guards at the core of the mysterious power seemed to perceive the three-way battle as a threat to the core. They changed their strategy, no longer targeting only the Interstellar Alliance ship, but spreading their fire evenly between the pirates and the Alliance.

The situation on the battlefield became even more chaotic.

Loki utilized his quantum-shifting ability to move freely through the battlefield, continuously sabotaging the critical components of both the pirate ships and the Mechanical Guards.

He spotted an energy node on the core of the mysterious power and instantly appeared nearby, attempting to disrupt the Mechanical Guards' control system.

However, just as Loki was about to succeed, a mysterious energy beam shot out from the darkness and struck him with pinpoint accuracy.

Loki let out a cry of pain, his body forced out of its quantum state as he plummeted toward the core of the mysterious power.

"Loki!" Eric and Lina exclaimed in unison, their hearts filled with dread. But they were pinned down by the pirates and the Mechanical Guards, unable to break away to save him.

Seeing Loki in danger, the pirate leader felt a surge of joy, sensing an opportunity. "Increase firepower! While they're distracted, take the mysterious power in one fell swoop!" The pirate ships launched another frenzied assault, and the Interstellar Alliance ship fell into an unprecedented crisis.

Near the core of the mysterious power, Loki struggled to his feet. His armor was severely damaged, and he had sustained significant injuries.

Before he could recover, the surrounding Mechanical Guards quickly closed in, surrounding him completely. A much more difficult battle was about to unfold in this core area of the mysterious power.

Under the continuous barrage, both the pirate ships and the Interstellar Alliance ship suffered heavy damage. One pirate ship after another erupted into roaring flames, their hulls twisted and deformed as debris scattered in all directions. Many pirates were thrown into the cold vacuum of space by the explosions, letting out desperate cries before falling silent.

On the Interstellar Alliance side, the ship's hull was riddled with holes, and its energy shield flickered, on the verge of shattering at any moment. Eric and Lina were exhausted, both bearing various wounds. Lina's elemental power had become unstable due to prolonged, high-intensity use; every time she cast a spell, she couldn't help but cough, a trace of blood spilling from the corner of her mouth.

"We can't keep this up! We have to end this quickly!" Eric shouted to Lina while struggling to maneuver the damaged ship to dodge incoming fire.

Lina gritted her teeth and nodded, suppressing her physical discomfort as she prepared to unleash one final, powerful elemental attack. Her hands danced rapidly, fire and water elements weaving together frantically in her palms to form a massive energy vortex that radiated a terrifying light.
