A Three-Way Battle

Lina folded her arms across her chest and nodded slightly. "Whatever it is, we can't back down. The peace of the universe is counting on us."

Loki joked from the side, "Maybe it's some kind of super treasure. Once we deal with the trouble, we can get a share of it too."

As they chatted, several unidentified objects suddenly appeared on the ship's radar. "Uh-oh, we've got a situation!" Eric immediately went on alert, his hands swiftly working the control panel as he tried to determine where the objects had come from.

Not far away, the Space Pirate Group's ships were following them cautiously. Hidden in an asteroid belt, they kept a close watch on every move made by the Interstellar Alliance ship.

Eric quickly adjusted the ship's parameters, activated its stealth shield, and switched on a high-precision scanner, trying to identify the unidentified objects.

"These signals are all over the place. They don't look like Interstellar Alliance equipment. Could they be..." Before he could finish, Lina cut in. "It's the Space Pirate Group. They must have their eyes on this mysterious power too."

Loki frowned and clenched his fists. "Those guys only know how to take advantage of a crisis. We can't let them get away with it." After discussing it, the super-powered team decided to pretend they hadn't noticed and continue toward the source of the mysterious power, while keeping a close eye on the pirates.

Aboard the pirate flagship, the leader watched the Interstellar Alliance ship's course on the screen and smirked. "They haven't spotted us yet. Keep following them. Once they start fighting whoever's behind that mysterious power, we'll make our move." His advisor added, "Boss, we should get ready for battle too. If the Interstellar Alliance figures out we're here, they definitely won't let us off easy." The leader nodded and ordered everyone to prepare for combat.

The Interstellar Alliance ship gradually approached the core region of the mysterious power. The surrounding energy currents grew increasingly turbulent, and the ship began to buck violently.

Eric struggled to control the ship, fine beads of sweat forming on his forehead. "This energy is too wild. Our ship can barely hold together." Lina focused, using her elemental power to stabilize the ship while releasing an elemental detection wave in an attempt to locate the source of the mysterious power.

Suddenly, a gigantic black sphere appeared ahead, radiating an eerie light. It was the core of the mysterious power.

Before they could get any closer, a group of Mechanical Guards surged out from around the sphere and attacked the ship. Eric quickly maneuvered to evade them. Loki quantumized in an instant, appearing behind the Mechanical Guards and launching a disruption attack. Lina summoned a shield of flames to block the enemy's fire.

Seeing this, the Space Pirate Group, which had been lying in wait behind them, decided the time was right and sent out all its ships. Their weapons systems opened fire, raining shots down on both the Interstellar Alliance ship and the Mechanical Guards.

"Charge! Seize that mysterious power!" the pirate leader roared from the command deck.

The Interstellar Alliance's super-powered team was caught between two enemies, and the situation was dire. Eric dodged incoming attacks and shouted, "We can't fight both sides at once. We need a plan!" Lina thought for a moment, then said, "Let's drive off the pirates first, then deal with the Mechanical Guards." The others nodded. Loki instantly returned to the ship, and he, Lina, and Eric launched a counterattack against the pirates.

Energy beams crisscrossed the battlefield, and explosions rang out one after another.

The pirates pressed forward, relying on their superior numbers. The Interstellar Alliance's super-powered team fought back fiercely with their formidable abilities. Meanwhile, the Mechanical Guards around the core of the mysterious power continued attacking, and the three sides became embroiled in a chaotic battle.

In the midst of the fierce firefight, Eric seized an opening and used all his strength to control gravity, dragging a pirate ship toward a Mechanical Guard. The two collided violently, and both were swallowed by a burst of flames.

The sudden attack threw the pirates into disarray, and their firepower slackened for a moment.

Lina seized the opportunity to gather her elemental power into a gigantic ice dragon. Roaring, it charged toward the pirate fleet. Wherever it went, the pirates' weapons systems froze and shut down, sending the panicked pirates scurrying through their ships.

"Damn it! I never thought they'd be this tough!" the pirate leader bellowed furiously, veins bulging on his forehead. He glared at the screen, then abruptly gave an order. "Activate every concealed weapon! Hit them with everything we've got!" The hulls of the pirate ships slowly opened, revealing a row of enormous energy cannons none of them had ever seen before.

"Watch out!" Eric shouted as he steered the ship into a sharp turn.

The beam from one of the giant energy cannons grazed the edge of their ship. The tremendous impact sent it rocking violently, nearly knocking it out of control.

At that moment, the Mechanical Guards around the core seemed to sense that the three-way battle threatened the core. They changed tactics, no longer targeting only the Interstellar Alliance ship but spreading their fire evenly between the pirates and the Alliance.

The battlefield grew even more chaotic.

Loki used his quantum powers to move freely across the battlefield, repeatedly sabotaging key sections of the pirate ships and the Mechanical Guards.

He spotted an energy node near the core of the mysterious power, appeared beside it in an instant, and tried to disrupt the Mechanical Guards' control system.

But just as Loki was about to succeed, a mysterious energy beam shot out of the darkness and struck him with pinpoint accuracy.

Loki let out a scream as he was forced out of his quantum state and plunged toward the core of the mysterious power.

"Loki!" Eric and Lina cried out at the same time, frantic with worry. But the pirates and Mechanical Guards had them pinned down, leaving them no way to break free and save him.

Seeing Loki in danger, the pirate leader was delighted, sensing an opportunity. "Increase your fire! While they're distracted, seize the mysterious power!" The pirate ships attacked furiously once more, plunging the Interstellar Alliance ship into an unprecedented crisis.

Near the core of the mysterious power, Loki struggled to his feet. His battle suit was badly damaged, and he had been seriously injured.

Before he could catch his breath, the nearby Mechanical Guards swiftly closed in and surrounded him. An even more difficult battle was about to unfold in the core region of the mysterious power.

Under the relentless attacks, both the pirate ships and the Interstellar Alliance ship suffered severe damage. One pirate ship after another burst into flames, their hulls twisted out of shape as parts flew in every direction. Many pirates were hurled into the cold reaches of space by the explosions, crying out in despair before quickly falling silent.

On the Interstellar Alliance's side, the ship's hull was riddled with holes, and its energy shield was on the verge of collapse. It could fail at any moment. Eric and Lina were exhausted too, and both had suffered injuries of varying severity. Lina's elemental power had grown unstable after such prolonged, intense use. She couldn't help coughing every time she cast a spell, and a trickle of blood escaped the corner of her mouth.

"We can't keep this up. We have to finish this quickly!" Eric shouted to Lina while struggling to steer the damaged ship out of the way of the attacks.

Lina gritted her teeth and nodded. Fighting through her discomfort, she prepared to unleash one final, powerful elemental attack. Her hands moved rapidly as fire and water elements intertwined wildly between them, forming a gigantic vortex of energy that radiated a terrifying light.
