Six years before the Frost Extreme Empire's rebellion, Qian Daoliu intervened against Bibi Dong's campaign in the Northern Territory. He first ordered that the matter not be rushed, then personally threatened to remove her as Pope if she continued; this prevented Martial Soul Hall's top combatants from being committed against Luo Shang's family. 51 54

Qian Renxue later informed him of Luo Yun's extraordinary talent, including his twin martial souls and suspected divine trial.
