Background / History
Wang Dong'er is the complete soul of a Radiant Goddess Butterfly that was forcibly catalyzed into transformation during its juvenile stage. Her original body was destroyed, while her soul was placed into Wang Dong's body; Tang Wutong's soul remained the consciousness controlling that body. Song Mu identified Wang Dong's “Extraordinary Talent,” then captured Wang Dong'er with his King Ball, which fully awakened his Martial Soul 3 4.
Initially unable to manifest because she lacked a physical body, Wang Dong'er was healed through Song Mu's panel at the cost of 710 Locke Berry. He then restored her original female form and explained that she was his first captured soul beast 5. Though frightened and disoriented, she accepted his explanation partly because she remembered past episodes in which she lost control of her body and saw herself unconscious from an outside perspective 6.
She initially remained inside the King Ball and relied on calls with Song Mu for reassurance. His stories and steady companionship helped her recover from the shock of learning her identity, though she was reluctant to leave her room or face the outside world 6 7. Over time, she began accompanying him through Shrek City, the Soul Fighting Zone, and the Beast Fighting Zone 16 17 18.
Following eight months of cultivation through released soul-beast resources, Wang Dong'er rose to Level 60. She subsequently received Refraction as her sixth soul skill and was given additional Fire-, Water-, and Lightning-type skills through Song Mu's Skill Stones 26 27.

As she becomes more secure, she reveals a curious and playful side. She eagerly explores street food, soul-beast facilities, and soul guidance devices despite having been taught to reject the latter at the Clear Sky Sect 16 17.
