Background / History
Di Tian once commanded the Dragon God's personal guard. His service spans the transition from the Dragon God to the Silver Dragon King and from the God Realm to the Douluo Continent 18 19.
He resides in a mustard-seed space beneath the Lake of Life. Protecting the Emperor Auspicious Beast's destiny power is essential to his master's concealment: without it, the Silver Dragon King's inherited divine core and the Asura divine power remaining on her would expose her to the God Realm. This is why he refuses to let Lie Xu leave after the beast transfers her fate and destiny to him 13 17.
Appearance
Di Tian has both a human form and an enormous black dragon form 17 18.

Personality
Di Tian is commanding, proud, and quick to violence when he believes the forest's interests are threatened. He orders the beast kings to search the entire forest, disparages their competence, and attempts to crush Xiao Jiu after discovering that the lion is not the Emperor Auspicious Beast. His contempt also surfaces during combat, when he dismisses Qian Daoliu as an “ant” 13 15 18.
His conduct toward the Silver Dragon King is markedly different. He bows and kneels before her, immediately abandons his attack when she intervenes, and repeatedly warns her against entering the human world while injured and watched by Asura. Although reluctant to accept her departure, he obeys her decision and asks her to return safely 18 19 20.
