Xu Feng's heart lurched, but he showed little surprise. He merely cupped his hands and said, "I wandered here by accident, senior, and I truly haven't found any treasures.
"If my presence displeases you, I'll leave right away."
The young man raised his eyebrows, as though he had heard something amusing. "Are young people all this cautious nowadays? This underground palace is huge. You explore your part, and I'll search mine. It's not as if I'm going to eat you."
His smile was friendly, his tone light.
Yet Xu Feng could not figure out who he was at all, much less let his guard down.
Instead, he cautiously extended his psychic power behind him to scout a route, preparing to flee.
The young man did not get angry at his reaction. He simply folded his arms and leaned against the wall in a more comfortable position. "Don't be in such a hurry to run. Answer my question first. What's your name?"

"Xu Feng," the young man repeated, as though savoring the name. "Where are you from?"
"Earth."
"Earth?" The young man repeated that too, his brows knitting slightly. He seemed to ponder it for quite a while before breaking into a smile. "Never heard of it. But there are plenty of places I've never heard of."
Xu Feng quickly said, "Earth is only a native planet. It's perfectly normal that you haven't heard of it, senior."
"Which faction do you belong to?" he asked.
Xu Feng considered briefly. "I'm merely a native, not a member of any faction. I came here to look for my friends from the Star Guard Hall."
At that, the young man immediately straightened and took two steps toward Xu Feng.
