Su Li admitted that in that instant, every cultivation plan in his head had been wiped clean.
Elena took two steps, stopped before the window, and turned sideways to face Su Li.
One leg emerged from the high slit of her dress, white from ankle all the way to the root of her thigh.
"How is it?"
Su Li swallowed.
"...Those eight silver coins were well spent."
Elena swept a hand through her hair.
Saina looked at Elena, then at herself, then lowered her head to glance at her chest—
Before silently tugging her dress's neckline lower.
Su Li hurriedly stopped her. "Don't pull it. You'll tear it."
"Why can she show so much more!" Saina complained.
"You two have different styles—"
"What different styles!" Saina puffed up in anger. "Put bluntly, hers are big and mine are small!"
Elena thrust out her chest, looking unbearably smug.
Saina got even angrier.
Su Li hurriedly changed the subject. "Have you eaten? I'll cook."
"Don't!" both women said at once.
"Can anyone eat the food you make? The noodles you boiled last time could've been used as shoelaces." Saina showed no mercy.
"I'll do it." Elena turned and headed downstairs, her high heels clicking sharply against the wooden steps.
Saina panicked. "Yours tastes even worse! You burned the steak last time!"
"That was because the stove was terrible!"
"It was obviously because you can't control the heat!"
Still bickering, the two of them entered the kitchen together.
Su Li sat on the edge of the bed, listening to the clatter of pots and bowls downstairs, along with their squabbling.
At some point, Silver had slipped up to the second floor. It jumped onto the bed, stepped twice on Su Li's knees, and lay down.
Su Li scratched the cat beneath its chin.
