A year and a half, close to five hundred days, and over 3.4 million words.
Writing to this point basically meant it was over.
Being able to write this far was inseparable from the support of both new and old readers. I will not name everyone one by one here.
In any case, thank you all.
There might still be some plotlines that could branch off from this book in the end, but they would basically be old routines. Even if I wrote them, they would most likely be future side stories.
To be honest, I felt a little mentally exhausted, and very guilty as well.
This book could actually have ended long ago, but my updates could not keep up after the New Year, so I could only drag it out. I am deeply ashamed of that.
Because I had been preparing a new book all along, but unfortunately, that new book ultimately fell flat. The one I am currently updating has basically fallen flat too. That is on me; it was probably not written well enough.
Here, I would first like to thank all the brothers who have supported me all this time.
This book's results were actually decent, with more than four thousand average subscriptions. They slipped somewhat later on, so it was not enough to compare with the best, but more than enough compared with the rest.
As for the new book, I am still preparing it and have not started writing yet, because I discovered that I had recently lost some of my passion. You could see that from my updates as well.
Perhaps the delays of the past few months had gradually worn it away.
So, I need to find that former passion again.
