Lin Yi's thoughts had Edith's wholehearted agreement.
The chill in her blue-green eyes was even colder than Lin Yi's.
Because this wasn't just a conflict between races—it was a personal grudge, a matter of life and death.
If Lin Yi hadn't appeared out of nowhere and turned the tide time and again, Edith would have met the same fate as countless others lost throughout history: dying silently in the depths of a Secret Realm, becoming just another name in a cold record, perhaps earning no more than a few vague lines of regret in her race's chronicles.
She remembered that score just as clearly.
"President, we'll follow your arrangements." Edith voiced her support without hesitation.
Then she furrowed her brows slightly and thought for a few seconds before adding, "However, I have an idea."
Lin Yi looked at her, inviting her to continue.
"We have one year before we leave the Secret Realm," Edith said quickly.
